ngmoco is using a reasonable payment method to combat piracy and you guys are just bitching about it.

My new view on the situation is that whatever ngmoco had done you guys would all still be bitching.

I would pay 20 as well, but its obvious where they are going "supply and demand market wise": Iphone users eat up free or cheap games, so they want to try and get people hooked first and then charge... but I think they need to meet halfway. Offer the game for .99 cents with faster recharge times, like 90 minutes, and keep everything else the way it is for those who are willing to splurge.

I would still prefer a flat rate

Hey stop it every one, Ngmoco needs to make there money, they put alot of effort and resources on this game, any one saying they wont pay for energy might be retarted, if you cant pay then wait and get a free recharge, fair enough the game is free..

 

I'm just being honest here. I've actually rarely bitched about the prices of games I've bought, since they're normally well worth it.

 

Exactly how I feel. Would have gladly payed $10-$15 for this game. Maybe even $20. Instead I will be playing this game for free. Their loss. I can't afford to be constantly buying more energy, especially with the current system.

EDIT: don't get me wrong though, I love the game. Just don't quite agree with the pricing.

If someone reads this: There are terrible balance Problems, when you play against friends who are not leveled up as you. I Think it should be possible to change cloth and stats in private matches.

 

But Look Ngmoco only put it in Canada for now for a reason. They wanted to test the servers and they WANT & WELCOME feedback. I'm sure everyone here is EXTREMELY appreciative of their efforts and what has come out of them so far; we are just trying to give our suggestions on how to improve the game and make it even better, which they aim to do.

 

can you imagine if gears 2 or call of duty charged you to buy battery packs to earn online credits? no ranking up and no points for 4 hours while you wait for a charge...

 

Ang guess what, you paid NOTHING for this game.

Actually, ngmoco has confirmed that "Canadians" will keep all their progress on the game.

Yeah I didn't report him but I agree that the statement wasn't really necessary. Especially online where people can't really tell if you are joking...You know, not to be politically correct, but it definitely could have been taken offensively.
