I've got a question I bought a mag rail Jr. when it came out. If i were to fully upgrade that weapon would it turn into a proto or do i need to buy the mag rail pro?

i had about 8k credits saved up so i upped the vaporiser from 0 to 6x on all stats AND upped my Assault from 7x to 8x on all stats. Was planning to get the Elite skin right when i FINALLY hit level 48 but then i wouldn't have any money to upgrade my 2x infiltrator which i never used (only assault)
Wait. I thought that only the guns registered headshots. I.E. Auto Rifle, Hurricane, Mag Rail. What sensitivity level do you use for vap?
