I guess you got an energy pack right? Seeing as most of us can't, as we're in other countries using a fake Canadian account, we have to make do with what we can get. Seeing as the maps are relatively small, long distance isn't really an issue, so I got the shotgun and mainly use that. I have simply upgraded it quite a bit: the Damage, clip size, rate of fire and reload. And my armour I left with the default, but once again upgraded it heavily: Shields, Targeting, Powerup and Speed. That way I can maximise what credits I do earn as I don't think the cheaper, lower level items are really going to help much.
I haven't experienced lag yet. I'm in Barcelona and it's working great on wifi for me. Maybe their servers are spread out throughout the world and there aren't many people playing in Spain? Just a thought.
That still doesn't change the fact that not all people own iphones or a mic. It mostly defeats the purpose of adding it. Ngmoco would also have to upgrade their servers for that as well.
No lag for me here in Denmark, but something is strange with the energy. I just waited 4 hours and got 1/3 energy - I played 2 games both joined in progress (which is not supposed to cost you energy) and then my energy was depleted I hope they tweak it for the global release so you can play a bit longer - or maybe they are hoping for a WOW model, where you have to spend $10-30 a week to keep playing and upgrading? (I hope not!).
Their servers are probably in use at the moment all over the world, it's just probably the fact that I'm not close to one. Either they upgrade their servers or they make more, preferably maybe in the East TN area >_>
I vote to Eliminate the Energy bars and use the Power Cells to buy Exclusive Weapons, Armors etc... so we can at least move on without spending a dime/4 hours... That's why I'm waiting for Nova... at least it has a Story Mode and certainly won't have the stupid PowerCells... Hope ngmoco will improve those points

I'm going to fire my laser next time I see a eliminate pun. >_> I don't agree with that idea either, in fact it could be even worse. Half the reason people want to play this is because of the awesome buying and upgrading system. If you charge money for buying weapons and armor, there will be no way to do that without paying. Although it does get rid of the energy idea, this could be worse for the free-to-play people. Edit: Just to say, I'm also looking forward to Nova. I rather pay for the app and not spend another dime.
Ok, everyone quit your pissing about the energy cells. Just because you think that you should get everything you want for free doesn't mean that it should be. You can learn to have a little self control and wait if you don't want to pay! Complaining about it here isn't going to do anything about it.
