Last part of my thoughts for the day. -I really like the idea of a sandbox mode as well, where you can create whatever you want and have nothing in your way (i.e. unlimited health points). -I like the icon (as was agreed by the majority) though for the final copy I'd advise getting rid of the text on the top right (all that can be seen is "asis", a part of 'Jellyoasis'). If you're gonna have the text in there, at least try and keep it somewhere it's not detracting and you can see all of the text... -On the first section, map #8, I think the name should be changed to "Lots of Choices" or, if the characters don't fight on that "Many Choices". -Not sure what "BGM" stands for on the ingame pause menu. -"Back to Menu" on the ingame pause menu also sounds a little confusing, since you're IN a menu. Maybe try "To Main Menu" or "Back to Main Menu" instead... UPGRADE errors -Samson-change first part to "Throws stones at closest enemy" -Icer-change first part to "Casts ice spell to decrease movement speed" -Bomber-change first aprt to "Throws bombs, damaging multiple units. BIG ERROR- Sharpshooter is mispelled as "sharpshootr". Also change first part to "Shoots powerful arrow at flying eemies. -Golden Seed-change to "Raises amount of golden seed at the beginning -Holy Leaves-change to "Allows gaining of more holy leaves by playing the game" MERCENARY screen errors: -Stimulater (could be Stimulator if you want as well) -Peaker- change first part to "Sprays toxic gas, continuously damaging enemies. -Coldy Bear-change first part to "Raises Blizzard to slow every enemy on the screen" -Fire Dragon-change first part to "Increases attack power of every tower for a short time" -T. Rex-change first part to "Raises earthguakes to stun all enemies on the screen" SHOP grammar errors: -Mercenary Package-change to "Hires every special mercenary tower with a single purchase! Extra item pack included as a special bonus! Don't miss this sale!" -Item package-change to "Buy the vauable item package at a special low price for strategic use. You get every item in a single package! Extra holy leaves are also given as a special bonus! -Poison bomb-change to "Blasts toxic bomb poisoning all enemies" [Im assuming it poisons all enemies, if not just take out the word "all"] -Time bomb-change to " Installs a time bomb killing all enemies except for bosses." -Magic Box-change to "Build a massive brick to block the way of enemies." -Shovel- change to "Removes obstacles to allow the placement of more elf towers." -Also the TIP with the word "hid" and a slash should be "hide"... Also will give you more revision ideas if you want, not sure if your last post signified the end or not...
hey, there is still 20 minutes to comment, Thats not fair!! Anyway just wanted to say that you should also add endless mode, it'll be needed by hard core gamers. I'm dying to win the xbox, lol I've been dyng for months I think I really hope my comments met your expectation & that you didn't regret picking me. & that you would be comfortable to pick me again in future projects. Guess I'm going to get some sleep now after what you did to me. you got me sleeping 2 hours a day then going to work :-( Good luck with your game.
Well, even though the beta event is technically over, I wanted to get in my two comments for the day and say a couple things that have come to mind. I definitely think endless mode is needed, and actually if you just made it so that at the end of each level after it computed your score and everything, the game could then give you the option of ending the level and continuing the campaign or to continue that level in endless mode, so you would start endless from where you were just at in the regular mode. Idk, I think it would be kinda cool. Well, I had another thought but I can't remember what it was, so I'll post back when I do.
just saw some comments about the icon, I agree with them for 2 reasons: 1- the icon is so small on the iPhone to be able to see it clearly. feels like scribble. 2- It should be related to the elves like others said, for player to relate better. Edit: game keeps kicking me back to normal mode when I visit the menu, I've also seen some complaining about that.
Thanks for the beta preview of Elf Defense and the Xbox/$50 challenge! Missed feedback window by "that much" for this tidbit... - Several times the controls have become unresponsive, I think this happens when there is a slightly longer lapse in responding. First while waiting less than a minute paused the screen would not unpause. A second time I looked up from an active game for less than a minute and could not get pause to work. In both cases after a bit of random tapping things were back to normal. - Also I think some items, like mercenaries are too expensive; even if these are considered premium cheats for optional IAP it may turn off many consumers.

Alright then, final comment for the beta event and the night. Overall I really liked the game and I think it will do well on the appstore. It's a cute, fun tower defense game that has a bit of strategy and depth to it. The controls work well, menus are nicely put together, and it has lots of content. All it needs now is endless modes for each level, or just a few, but can't see why you wouldn't just do it for each level. Well, it was a pleasure testing the game and I hope we were able to help you make the game better so it does well when released! thank you for allowing me to test this awesome game
Thanks for the beta and giveaway! Just a few more comments: game doesn't seem to be rotatable/flippable, and occasionally when I start up the game, the "Thank you for purchasing" prompt will pop up. As for the difficulty, I said earlier that Normal was easy, but I guess that's only for the first half of the Forest stage or so, subsequent ones are well, normal (I didn't upgrade my towers in the shop at all though). Overall, it's a fun game with great graphics. If the English was corrected it would be a highly polished game.
Beta is over? Gosh! Time really flies! Anyways, this game is awesome! Please fixed the glitches that we all had found and also polish up the game gramma. I bet it will be a good one! Btw, if possible please add AOE skills in the shop! That gonna be awesome when last wave with tons of monster is coming. Of cause doesnt means need to have damage skills. Anything like show down, poison, freeze will do!

Just wanna say, thanks for the opportunity to beta test Elf Defense, I'm sorry for not giving the best feedback as its been a rough week with my damn fever. Overall, its a great tower defence game, and I agree that custom maps and endless mode would be favourable. I hoped to see multiplayer incorporated to the gameplay somehow, probably a co-op sort, where you have a large map and players of up to 4 are in charge of a zone, to defend the base. Of course, difficulty could be cranked up to 11. Just a thought, I know its late, but oh well, better than nothing. Second time I missed that Xbox360 boat, dang.
Usually beta questionnaires inquire about pricing. I would recommend this game to friends but would not encourage pricing above $1.99 due to inclusion of IAP and items likely to compel IAP. Hope this helps. Looking forward to the formal version.
