    Alright, I guess some final words before bed. Had a bit of a rough day today, so I didn't get to play much, but I've got a free day tomorrow so I'll make sure to play it a bit. I agree with previous comments regarding iap, it doesn't feel completely necessary, but some of the things to unlock like the mercenaries cost so much, and the currency is not easily obtained, so it does somewhat feel necessary in order to get everything, otherwise we would have to play the game extensively in order to have enough. One thing I did notice was when the story text scrolls, it does so pretty fast and I can't really read it all as I'm a slow reader. If would be nice if the player had the option to scroll manually through it and then just add a skip button as well. Oh, and about my poison tower suggestion...haha, scratch that as I just got the tower :D I just hadn't played far enough yet. Also, just got the "Eilectrician." Was that intentional or did you not know how to spell Electrician ;) Well, I guess I'll finish it up with a little positive. The more I play the game, the more I like it and the more I want to play it. So it may not be perfect yet, but it's fun, and that is seriously the hardest thing to get right in a video game. I've played lots that look nice, but they just aren't fun, but this one is fun! Alright then, good night all!

    Currently the range and other attributes such as power can be upgraded in Shop with consuming an amount of Holy Leaves. With the level-up of towers to increase attack range and power.

    Last point to make today. Would love to see the implementation of a stats tracking system to see virtually many stats(time played, towers used, etc.)

    And so far, NO CRASHES OR BUGS(for me at least). Very fluid, smooth!

    So I've mentioned this in my first email, but I'm not particularly fond of the two posts per day requirement. This is my first post and I don't care if I'm not included in the drawing, that's not why I test games. (although it would be nice).
    Here's what I've got so far:

    Suggestion:
    Menu button explanations. Even if it's small text just above the button.

    Clear up/fix the English translation. If you don't have someone in mind to do this, send me a PM and we can talk.

    The arrow which indicates where the waves come from is tiny and I only noticed it by accident. It should be bigger, or should glow/flash at the start of the level.
    It's often hard seeing where the levels begin, I have to backtrack from the base, especially if the start is covered up by the bar on top of the screen.

    I'm not entirely sure of this, but it seems to me like the bomber does damage as soon as his projectiles are thrown, rather than when they hit. If it's true, it's a bit strange to watch as it feels the explosion usually hits empty air. If I'm wrong, I must've mistaken the shots for those of my other towers.

    I have no idea how to access crazy mode for levels. If I don't, others won't either.



    Positives:
    The game looks pretty good and sharp. Very nice job. No crashes on my end.

    Additional comments:
    I don't mind the IAP, they do not feel forced yet.
    I would like tower ranges to increase as the tower levels up, but if they don't it doesn't bother me.
    When I upgrade a tower, I see stats. What do these stats mean? Are these at the first "level" of a tower, or the max? Can I see the whole range of stats at each "level"? I'd like tapping on the stats to bring up more detailed information.

    Increase map boundary so you can build towers at the edges more easily, namely, at the top and bottom which are covered by the UI and items. As it is I have to scroll to one side so that the interface doesn't block the placement, and sometimes it's still blocked anyway. Might also be nice to swap the items with the top UI since iOS 5 notifications which appear at the top can block the UI, although design-wise it would probably feel weird.

    Game sometimes lags for a long time after switching back from other apps. Usually it only lags for awhile until the Game Center sign in prompt appears (as with most other games I think) but on occasion (well, only once or twice so far) it can lag for ~15 seconds (the GC prompt took that long too).

    On iOS 5/5.0.1 the game causes my 3GS to shut down by itself when the battery reaches ~18%. I realize this happens with a number of apps, and is more of the OS problem, but since there are also apps which doesn't cause this to happen (i.e. the phone still runs normally and shuts down by itself at 2-3% or maybe higher with games), it would be nice if this can be fixed.

    Music in most phone games are pretty much just one file being looped over and over, and some people play with their own iPod music anyway, but it would be nice to have 2-3 tracks per stage.

    I got a pop up at the top of the screen during the gameplay but it was in Korean language. I believe it was an achievement message. Why there were not in English since my default is English.

    I've finished all 3 themes. Now on the proccess of finishing all levels with 3 stars. I've finished all levels in the "FOREST" and "DESERT" theme with all 3 stars in every levels EASY and NORMAL. Now on my way to finish all "ARCTIC" levels with 3 stars each levels. Game is too easy specially if you use the SPAM and UPGRADE technic. I only use 2 towers and 2 mercenaries combination to finish all levels in 3 stars.

    I've unlocked the second hidden achievement/honor. That was pretty easy than the first hidden achievement. Lol.

    I've not encountered any bugs or crashing today. Btw, I didn't buy any IAP. Game can be finished without buying the IAP but of course it will take time to gather more leaves. Completing an achievement/HONOR will grant you more leaves, so better do that.

    I've noticed a screen tearing or a graphical bug when I received a notification (from twitter, echofon, etc..) while playing. The graphics sometimes blinks every now and then.

    I'll be honest, I only played through the first theme and part of the second one. But I'll be getting it when it comes out, this is one of the best TD games I've played in a long while.

    In what languages will be available? I think this class of games could be translated to a lot of languages easy, because there aren't so much text.
    The menu interface and transitions are very polished and looks very well. Congratulations.

    After playing it for a few hours, I can say that the difficulty is normal to hard, for a casual, sometimes serious, gamer like me. I mean, I can pass through most of the levels that I've played, but not with 3 stars, but I know that the mechanics demand you to upgrade using the holy leaves you've earned. I guess its a grinding thing, which is fine with me.

    GUI wise, I've had no problems, everything is clear-cut and I don't get confused on what does what.

    Suggestion: i think its better to change the shovel icon with hammer...since most of the obstacle to be remove are stones.i think its a great idea don't you think?coz the shovel icon just reminds me of PvsZ..hehe

    Ah one more thing ive posted a bug regarding screen freezes when i press the home button and return to the game..somehow its not happening anymore, maybe its just a glitch?also i just noticed that everytime i open the game i always see a thank you msg upon start up..is that suppose to be always like that?it might annoy some players, so i suggest that it should only appear once upon initial playing of the game after purchasing from appstore. :)

    Ok, something in Korean just popped up at the top. No idea what it is, I guess its some sort of achievement notification. Guess that needs to be changed to English lol.

    I had clear the forest theme with perfect score.
    Only with easy mode.
    Must with all mode can get honor?

    You must perfect everything on the "FOREST" theme in EASY, NORMAL and CRAZY mode to get the HONOR.

    Why I know? Because I've perfected every levels in the FOREST and DESERT themes with 3 stars on all levels in EASY and NORMAL mode and still no HONOR achievement unlocked.

    + Getting money even when you lose a level is a classy touch.

    ~ Being able to plop down units and immediately upgrade them to the highest level without missing a beat seems odd, I'm not sure if it's a pro or con. There's not sense of achievement getting a power tower but it does help balance the game. I think I like that you can automatically super upgrade.

    - Boss enemies reduce your health by 2 points, that seems a little lower than I expected. I thInk bosses should remove more health than even 2 points.

    ~ Having enemies with more unique attacks or debuffs would be nice. For example a foe that would slow your units while it was on screen, or an enemy that blew up explosively destroying your nearest tower would twist things.

    ~ After each level you get an item. It would be good if the quality of item corresponded with star ranking and those possible outcomes were published.

    - An opional tutorial better showcasing the in-game items would help encourage use and understanding them. Special levels (someone else suggested bonus levels) that provide and relie heavily on item usage might be good (provided they do not compell IAP). For example, at stage start you get 10 gold bricks and must build strategic maze for enemies to win, keep whatever bricks you have left over if any. Just make sure they are beatable with provisions. Consider another example in the game Tiny Heroes, which is a tower defense game unique in reel ending mainly on likited supply item usage rather than defensive units.

    ~ It might be interesting if there was an uncomplicated way to queue actions depending in resources; for example perform upgrade air tower when seeds are sufficient. This might work by allowing user to select upgrades/units then having a pie chart showing percentage complete on order due to resources.

    Suggestion #1: Hope you can add the available "STARS" in each theme on the Theme Selection Screen. This could make things easier to see if there are still missing stars to get on that Theme. You can see the total stars you've collected and the total stars that can be collected in that Theme. I've made an example of what it should look like from the image below.

    Suggestion #2: I think adding a twitter and Facebook icon in the Main Menu can help users or players to follow the coming updates or coming games from the Company. This icons can be placed on the Top Right of the screen for easy access. They can simply push an icon like twitter or facebook and it will take them to the Company's Twitter account or facebook page. This is very helpful for those who loves to see more games or see any upcoming updates for this game. I've made a sample of what the Main Menu should look like when applying these icons from the image below.

    Suggestion #3: How about adding a post result to facebook or twitter after finishing every level? This will boost the popularity of this game. The post or tweet should contain the link of the game with the message.

    Example of the post or tweet:

    "I've finished <Name of Level> in Elf Defense in <EASY/NORMAL> mode and achieved <Number of STARS>. <iTunes Link to the game>"

    The Post or Tweet can also contain the "END RESULT" image.
     
  20. My score on Game Center leaderboard doesn't seem to be updating. Also, GC achievements would be nice (just use the current "Honors").
