Hey guys. Please have a look at our new Christmas app, which allows parents to record actual footage of Santa coming down the chimney in their own living room (among a great many other things). A perfect way to inject a bit of extra Christmas magic for the kids in the run up to Xmas.

We're currently sorting out the media with reviews, and will look at passing out promo codes on here if there's any left. Please register your interest if you'd like one, and all feedback on the app is very welcome.

    Cheers guys!

The magic of Christmas is captured in more ways than one in Wet Nose Design’s brand new iPhone application, Elf Cam.

Designed by Engineer Elves at the North Pole’s Connected Christmas Company, Elf Cam allows users to record night-vision video footage of Santa Claus climbing down the chimney in their own living room.

“Our Santa Certainty Survey clearly showed that tech savvy kids need proof of Christmas magic these days,” said elf director of the North Pole’s Magic Management division, Noddy Ho-ho-holder. “So the R&D team here at Santa’s workshop created the Elf Cam technology to allow iPhones to record Ol’ Saint Nic as he climbs down the user’s chimney with his bag of presents this year.”

Elf Cam’s Ho-Ho-Ho-cial Networking™ service provides a two-way communication tool for children to ask any Christmas questions they might have, and to receive answers directly from our staff of professional elves. The good/naughty list is to also be made public for the first time, and a real-time submission system is provided for sending Christmas lists directly to Santa’s workshop. All these services are manned 24-hours a day by elves, based in the North Pole’s Cold Call Center.

"Christmas is a time for magic, miracles, and hot new technology," explains chief design elf Simon Watson. "We want to reconnect kids with the original app store, up here at Santa’s workshop, and what better way to connect than through the iPhone? It's the perfect way for parents to use the latest technology to create some good old-fashioned magic for their children."

The app has 27 videos written and performed by top British comedian Matt Price dressed as an elf answering questions and giving updates from the North Pole. The graphics are beautifully hand-drawn by Canadian illustrator Marcus Cutler.

    FOR HOME ELF’S EYES ONLY
All content is configurable by home elves (parents) who can simply take a photo of where Santa should appear, and Elf Cam does the rest.

Lists and updates are also configurable, giving parents simple, transparent control over Elf Cam’s content and helping them build an exciting and fun experience that heightens children’s excitement in the run up to Christmas.

Elf Cam is live on the App Store right now, priced at $1.99/£1.19/€1.59.
