I've only made it to Chapter 3 so far, saving up my gold for upgrades! btw I'm one of those people who get dizzy with certain camera effects, so I really appreciate this game's solid camera along with everything else
Same here. I personally also feel dizzy with some camera effects. You have to move on!! I personally finished the Chaper 4!! Thank you for playing this game and giving it a good rating.
I know that this wasn't meant to play on the 3GS, but I loved the free version so much that I took the dive on the full version anyway -- regardless of the crashes. The crashes were, of course, annoying in the first three chapters, but I think it finally has hit the fan with the 4th chapter to the point where I'm frustrated in wasting crystals and gold (because you lose what you spent on the level regardless of whether you finished it). While it usually crashes before, I was excited getting to the 5th of 5 waves in the first level of Chapter 4 and was probably about 1/2 way through that wave and boom. Crash. Ughhhh...I was so upset thinking that I was finally going to do it. Yeah, I know it's my own fault for trying to make this work on the 3GS and it does work rather smoothly during gameplay. And I grind the first Chapter for gold and never, ever have a crash during that Chapter .... probably due to less enemies on the screen, etc. All that said, if there's anything, anything you can do to help optimize this any more I'd be most appreciative. I know you mentioned that you didn't want to tone down the graphics and I wouldn't want you to for others playing on newer devices. But have you considered a toggle to enable high-res vs. lower-res graphics? I know there's a bunch of games that do this and it helps. Wish I could afford a new device. This game is incredibly addicting, but I'm probably going to have to stop playing it for now due to the frustration level of the getting far and then having a crash. I'll keep an eye on this thread and watch for any updates. Anyone with a newer device and likes tower defense or RPGs should REALLY download it now. Even try the free version first. It's just damn fun.
Well, I have been playing this game for about 2 weeks now and I just love it! I was playing it both on my phone and my iPad, but I can read the text more easily on the iPad so when I focused on that I really got into the different upgrades. I'm so crazy about the pets! What a great idea that was # Hope you guys and gals keep up the good work, I look forward to any new upgrades or projects you come up with.
Great! Good to know. I think the only suggestion I have would be iCloud sync if possible and a tutorial or something as I said before. But even if those things don't happen it's still a 5 star game IMO.

Hi Mike. I do hope I could help. But I have asked the team several times about this, it seems that it is a little bit difficult to do it. Due to the Memory problem, the iPod touch 4 is not supported. There would be a lot of bosses and enemies coming out in the later Chapter and smaller memory size may cause crashes. Another friend in this forum said that he could play the game on his 3GS device. If you have one, you could have a try.
Yeah this, you can play the whole thing in the free version without upgrading. I upgraded to the paid version a couple of days ago, the game is exactly the same but removing ads was worth it. It is at least worth the money being asked for. Probably a bit more than that too! The only thing when upgrading is losing progress from the unpaid version as it doesn't transfer but wasn't really too much of a problem, would rather have content updates first. A price reduction would honestly be an insult to this game lol

Well it was easier having played the free version back when it was released, but this second time around progress has been much faster. I'm on chapter 3 of the final act, I upgraded to level 4 of the best staves (the ones that don't cost gems) and beat the first challenge mission a few times. All without the assistance of IAP of course.
Wow. It seems that you play very well. Did you use the Pets and Traps often? Are they useful in your progress?
Thank you Pets I used when they were available, but they are only on +5 at the moment there is a long way to go to train those fully. They were very useful when they were fed and active though. Traps really depends on my mood, if I'm feeling like taking a mission seriously il run around punching up towers from back to front, then place traps near the entrances on the row I want to fight last in a wave. They aren't game changing so much that i need them to beat a mission, but they are very useful and the effects are fun. I haven't upgraded those yet though. However, if I just want to play for the sake of fun sometimes I don't use them. The traps are still not upgraded at all in my game, mainly because I'm putting all gold Towards getting the maximum in staff upgrades. My typical strategy includes throwing up towers semi randomly but where I work is near the crystals staff switching to the element that is most needed at the time. Having said that, the same as traps if there is a row I want to fight last I will put an extra ice tower there. That way I don't fight multiple groups of enemies when I can fight just one group at a time. The final act is a little different, instead of fighting with my staves at the crystal I try to hold out around the choke point at the top of the map then switch up strategy when the carts come, concentrate those and by the time it's down my towers have held the waves back enough from the top of the map to let me push them back into the position I prefer. So that's how I roll, it seems to work well enough!

I FOUND A 5 STAR WEAPON! Wooohoooo Staff of secret fire!!!!!!!!!! 120 damage WITHOUT upgrades.... woop woop! It's better than the IAP staff Yeah.... Il be opening more gem chests from now on.... I almost never touch them. Hip hip hooray! Upgraded to 180 damage already, yowzers... I always suspected there may be a better staff than the ones with cost over a hundred gems each because they didn't reach that 5th star item rank. Mmm wow nice, I'm testing it in the first challenge mission... A fire staff that can own early wave fire mobs.... Can shoot out three bullets at once, Has an AOE like the 3star rank ice staff just with a fire blast instead. Yeah, Cool.
Wow!!! A Chinese gamer had already found out this secret staff. I am thinking when anyone in this forum would discover this. Have to say you really played well!! Why not share the secret staff and attach some pics?
