That was fast, but lucky managed to pick it up before the increase. But that was also for the iPhone version, I dont think the iPad one is dropping.
I like it alot.....touch controls are some of my faves for fps but take up alot of screen real estate. i'd say a definite buy for ipad but a cautious maybe for iphone. Anyone know if NFS hot pursuit ended up getting touch controls? Not a fan of tilt control on the ipad.
Probably not. iPhone prices are constantly changing. I just waited a couple minutes, tried again, and price had changed back again.
This is the weirdest sale I've ever seen on the iTunes store ! Prices keep fluctuating up and down like a bobbin on a stormy lake. I finally got Max at 99 cents after refreshing the store six or seven times. Now I see it's back at five bucks. What the hell ? It's like russian roulette with apps...well, OK, not really...But kind of !!!

Technically, Battlefield 2 was released during a $0.99 sale, so it is possible for recently released games to go on sale. Not in this case though.
Havent seen much talk of it, just d/l'd Rockband Reloaded for ipad(on sale for 2.99)--brilliant, just love it. All the fun of playing along with your favorite songs without the dorky plastic instruments. Really fond of the touch option for vocals. It seems odd but it works. Instead of tapping along to the drum beats or guitar chords you tap to the vocals, giving it a better sense of playing along with the SONG. BTW, just played Max, which I had dismissed until reading this thread...great game/great mechanics/great platformer-puzzle blend. It does seem a bit easy so I hope the difficulty will ramp up a bit. Thanks for the referral! Feels like Christmas morning! Dead Space, NBA Jam, Tiger 12, Hot Pursuit, Max, Rockband...6 solid titles for a grand total of $8....love it!
iTunes has been buggy for the last two days now. It comes and goes. Just a bad time what with all the price drops this weekend. I search electronic arts and dead space was $7 but searching dead space by name dropped it to $1. Patience is a virtue.
That was me. Apple already told me no refund for NBA Jam since I've reported this before. At least it's a good game.
Man, sorry about that. I bought a bunch of EA and was actually lucky I only had like 4 in the account, because I would have spent 10 on NBA Jam by mistake. It OS a good game though, you'll get your money's worth.
