Second that. Absolutely loved it. If only it had a better icon and marketing, I'm sure it would've sold better. It didn't get enough exposure that it deserves. Wish they'd update the game with retina and optimise it further for iPhone 4.. but I suppose they've abandoned the project
I'm currently considering getting the following games: Scrabble HD Risk HD Monopoly HD NBA Jam HD Do any of you already own them and are they worth getting as the reviews for each of them aren't exactly 5 star. It's not about the money but more to do with having a buggy game (or one that isnt fun) that's taking up my limited memory if you know what I mean.
Scrabble HD , Monopoly HD and NBA Jam HD will be one of few best title for EA for iOS. It's a no brainer for 0.99
I've bought Scrabble, Risk and Monopoly - I've only fired them up to see how they run and they all seem pretty stable, and fun. I was waiting for a sale like this, I really like the idea of having a portable Board Game compendium and at these prices, you can't go wrong. My family all sit around and play Monopoly every Christmas, and there's always an argument about who will be the banker; I can't wait to show them this.
Wow, seems like EA is really trying to stick it to Steam. I think I'll just get Dead Space and I'll be on my way.
My opinion is no. I have both and now they both sit on my Mac. Let's Play Golf is much more polished and fun. I seen the sale and considered getting it for the iPad, but decided otherwise. There are better games (not golf) out there for .99, if you feel the need to buy because of the sale then go for it, but I feel that the game could have been much better. BTW, I am an avid golfer and feel that TW, can and should be better from EA. Hope this helps.
If anyone owns Dead Space and NBA Jam, can you look from iTunes and say what's size after installation. I got only about 500mb left and it's hard to update big apps anyway...
My Wife and I love playing Monopoly on the ipad! I would def get that. I just downloaded Scrabble hd and Nba Jam hd.. Played one game of NBA Jam and it seemed really good. Im on the fence with Risk HD and Battlefield 2 HD. Any opinion on those?
Battlefield is good - but unless you want the name on the app, most of the RISK-clones are much better than the official one. (LUX/Conquist/a few others I can't remember... also have to recommend Strategery, which is like a mega-streamlined RISK (K-Dice clone) and is excellent...)

I got BC2 HD, but sadly multiplayer crashes before loading on iOS 5 beta 2. I know, it's my fault. I don't need anyone telling me that beta is bla bla bla..besides that, the controls are annoying, fire button is TINY. So I use control A. Works best for now
