OK Pitta I'm going to have to download this once I get home. I've had my eye in this but never pulled the trigger on it.

    Long time no see Emos!!!
    Hope your doing well.

    LOL.
I'm starting to feel a certain pressure now!!!

I'm really loving the game but it may not be for everyone.
I sincerely hope everyone who buy the game because of my enthusiasm will like the game as I do.
If I contribuited to some sells and people like it....I'm glad because I hope this means more campaigns and more games from FFG...I saw they have quite a bit of nice franchises under their portfolio.

    Let me know!!!

Like Runebound, Descent, Android, Arkham Horror, Twilight Imperium, Android: Netrunner, etc, etc, etc... I can dream, right?

    Yes!
    YES!!!
    YEEEEEEESSSSS!!!!!

    Just defeated Cthulhu.

    Sooooooo good!!!
    Sooooooo tense!!!!!!

I think I've found a very easy way to do it too...just refined my previous tactict.
I was able to defeat him with just man....the Ancient One never had chance!!!
But to get there....WOAH!!! What a ride!!!!

    Alaska, here I come!

I've just defeated Ithaqua, but my new investigator is still locked. Why oh why?
    Anybody experience the same?

Yeah, not that I have gotten this far but it is a known 100% reproducible issue that the devs are aware of but no clue how quickly they'll resolve it. Hopefully ASAP.

Enh, I'm willing to bet your beating that campaign is recorded so clearing it now would mean the investigator is ready for you the second the update hits. :D

    :)
Well a nasty bug but I'm not that into achievements and surely my first games would be without the unlocksed character nonetheless....so Alaska here I come!!!
I won't be able to play it for some hours tough.
The Cthulhu campaign was really awesome and tense, loved the added mechanics and setting.
The final cutscene was a bit on the short side tough...after all the slaughter and madness I suffered I was expecting at the very least a 1 hour long celebration movie :D

I like games take NOT forever to complete...1 hour, 1 hour and half at most.
Cthulhu went down at my fourth try...would havd been my second if not for a glaring error.
As long as you manage to get to Cthulhu, I found a very easy way to banish him.

Already in Alaska and loving every (frozen) minute of it.
I love how they twist the same mechanic to have you doing different things and how they wrap everything in a compelling story.

    Welcome to Alaskan nightmare....
I hope you're prepared enough cause I can beat it up in my first try.
I think the Cthulhu is more difficult than Ithaqua because we can have lots of preparation first.

I would think, even if you stored up a huge amount of supplies, that Icy Wind mechanic, even if it helps you once in a Blue Moon, has to make planning a little tricky, no?

I had to stop playing (damn work! :p) on my first try...I was in the third part of the 'trip', with about 15-20 supplies left.
    Will tell you tonight :)
Was awesome btw, loved the story.

Well, I just defeated Itaqua on my first try, and even saw the best ending.
The campaign is fantastic, but maybe a bit too easy.
TBH I was a bit lucky in the end...I ended doing the last part with my best character, loaded with 'clues'...so I was able not only to win, but even see the best conclusion of this awesome ride.

I'll replay both campaigns for sure in few days...but I'm already wanting more...has anything be announced?
Whatever expansion they will do, they will have my money.

I also had the unlocked character bug.

Awesome game, super addicting and incredible athmosfere, not to mention a great and slick execution.
The two campaigns are way better of the vanilla game, which is already awesome to boot.

    Highly recommended.

    New update out!

It has bug fixes and the removal of the invalid state issue that forced users to abandon their games if unable to discard a glyph. Another great edition is that they removed the game mechanic that caused this and allow players to fail an adventure at any time as long as a Terror effect is not in play. :)

Back to 5 stars you go!

Nice, I'll check later if this unlock the already unlocked Itaqua character...but I had almost an heart attack drooling over a new expansion.

    LordGek loses the bet....
It doesn't remember my previous victory on saving Ashley.
And now I'm continuously failing on saving Ashley.... :(
So edit: Ithaqua campaign is indeed hard.... Aaarghhh

Same here, the game didn't recognized I already saved Ashley.
An incentive to replay it :)

Has FFG ever been present on these forums?
Are there any plans for more expansion...and...are there other expansions in the real board game anyway?
