Hunt werewolves, fallen angels, and other damned creatures in a vivid slow motion love letter to action classics. Fight your way through a reality-shifting motel, floor by bloody floor. Save the victims of Draculae, lord of the vampires. Destroy the villain you loved– even if it means dying yourself. Somewhere in El Paso, Texas, a three-story motel gained another 46 stories... all below ground. So, yeah. This is going to get loud. // FEATURING // Original hip-hop soundtrack. Molotov cocktails filled with holy blue flame. A fully-voiced neo-noir story campaign set in a reality-shifting motel full of monsters. Hordes of destructible physics objects; for shooting. More slow-motion dives than you would think it is humanly possible to fit into a single video game. From Strange Scaffold, the makers of Life Eater, I Am Your Beast, Clickolding, and more. Usually this type of game only works well for me with a controller and never feels good enough on touch screen but we shall see. Has a nice dark chill vibe to it. But you can tell from experience that the controls are gonna be a pain (touchscreen) eventually when the game starts becoming challenging. elcrazy likes this. I am still unsure. I did buy the full game as there really is no trial here. You get the tutorial stage and then a cut scene. Then it says to buy the full game. I have been mixed on it. At first I thought it was pretty bad. Then it grew on me. Certainly more fun with a controller. But I never judge a game on that. An iOS game should play great without one. That’s the point of mobile games imo. I don’t like the graphics at all. Not my cup of tea. The level are find. But the characters are too polygon. Just don’t look like anything. Lighting can be terrible at times. A real chore to see what’s going on, especially at the end of each level during the escape phase. On that note the last level I played seemed to be bugged. There was no escaping the escape part. I had to restart the level but have not had time to play again to see if that bug persists. There is some fun here. But the main slow down mechanic doesn’t work so well. You are almost better off just running and gunning. Which does give some fun. I can’t highly recommend the game. But there is some fun here to be had. Rocksaint likes this. RoaringKitty Well-Known Member Aug 23, 2024 51 33 18 The North #6 RoaringKitty, Sep 19, 2024 I gave it a spin also. I can see how this would be super fun on the computer with proper mouse and keyboard. Basically this is a Max Payne clone. However, I don’t think games like these translate very well to the touch screen. I felt the same about M.P - awesome game but the controls just didn’t work for me on touch. I get so frustrated when I have to do to much finger acrobatics and precise fiddling at the same time. I feel that the touch really isn’t made for that. Game looks sweet tho. I bet it plays like a dream with a ipad/smart folio/external mouse setup. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
