I wouldn't even go near it if it was similar to a telltale "game" , while I gladly paid 10 for what it actually is .
the truth the game could run much better on iPhone, I feel it lacks a lot of optimization and use of cpu-gpu. but apparently the pixel hero you think your game is perfect and we have to settle with low performance given in certain parts of the game.
Just get an older device it still technically compatible with iPhone 7 and iPad Pro 2nd generation iPad 6th generation
Hi Dasker, I have seen the thread you have on Facebook regarding issues you have had with performance with your iPhone 6. As developers we have many tools to check the performance of the game, on both cpu and gpu... which is considerably important considering the high graphical detail of the game. For every device the frame rate is 30 fps, locked and solid. Some devices may have certain graphical features switched off to achieve this, but it is something we have put a lot of effort into, and I can say with some confidence. We have tested the game on several iPhone 6 devices and had no issues at any point. Now this is not to say that performance issues are not possible, but we are in the area now where they are due to particularities on an individual's phone. To explain: When developing on a console, such as PS4, there is a guaranteed amount of memory and performance that is available. These amounts never change, and are not compromised... Making the device and games stable (hopefully). Sadly, smartphones are not dedicated games machines. Of the 1GB of ram on an iPhone 6, 250-300 MB alone are constantly used by iOS. On top of that iOS created both a recent and fixed memory pool based on applications that you use (up to 400MB!!), and how often you use them (so, if you surf the web a lot, it keeps memory to have everything loaded for you as much as possible). We have no control over this mechanism, and no way to force it to not do that and return memory. Even worse, this is entirely dependent on how the person uses their device. We have made sure that Eisenhorn runs within 300 MB of memory on the device, but between OS usage, and any background memory not being given, it can and will affect performance if overall memory usage on the device is high. This is why many high end 3D games recommend on the store page to close other apps and even reset your phone ( to force as much of the residual memory to be freed up as possible). We do not think the game is perfect, but it most certainly as optimized as it can be given the circumstances... Other than simplifying the game so it doesn't require so much resources (simpler graphics, less AI, etc, etc) there is literally nothing left for us to do. If Apple suddenly update the OS in such a way that we can improve anything, we absolutely will. I understand it must be very frustrating to not have the game run smoothly all the time, but you are in a small minority of about 3% of users, and the issue is not actually anything to do with the game, but with a personal configuration of iOS. We had exactly the same problems with Spiral at the time. I'm sorry this is not the answer you were hoping for, or that there is nothing more immediate we can do for you.
No and i heard the game is coming to Android devices, I thought it was an iOS exclusive, So disappointed in Devs and never support or buy their games in the future. (Sorry to say this but as a freeman i have to say it, i know you call me bigot).
I’m surprised that this game still performs well on the latest update I have an iPad Pro 2nd generation 2017 and still it looks incredible
Friends have never thought about improving combat mechanics, to make it more fluid, simplified, faster and less tedious? That is more comfortable and interesting the combat, since sadly in this game becomes tedious whenever there is a confrontation PD: i already renewed my device to change it for an iPhone 7 so I guess it should go better the game
Just bought this for the iPhone 8 Plus. The openong narration hooked me immediately. Unfortunately the graphics are completely busted. I hope there’s a fix soon or I’ll have to request a refund.
