I just updated the app, but now I can't start a new game. The app simply shuts down when I click on New game. I reinstalled the app and then I can go to New game. HOWEVER, if I want to restore my purchases, it shuts down again. After a restart, I can't get past New game again. So something wrong with the purchases. Please fix this!!
I've sent them an email. Let's hope they fix it asap. I quite like the game, it's fast, fun and has thought to it.
I've had response: Hi! Thank you for your e-mail and bug report. We have just investigated and fixed the issue. The update is going to be released to the App Store as soon as Apple approve new app version (1.0.3). For now, the workaround is to turn off the internet connection (for example turn on airplane mode) before displaying the map's list. (During the gameplay the internet connection is ok). It will prevent the crash. We are sorry for any inconveniences caused by this bug.
OK, but how to restore the in App purchases without Internet connection? Hope, the fix is online soon ...
Restore them, let the game shut itself down. Turn off internet, start and play the game. It works. Can't believe I didn't think of this myself as workaround to try.
So now they have a $4.99 All Map Pack? What about those of us who already purchased all the maps for almost $10? Seems kind of shady.
I just bought the full game and the map bundle. The game always crashes when I click "new game". I'm on an Air with the latest non-jailbroken iOS. I even did a warm reset of my device and even deleted and reinstalled. I really don't want to ask for refund...hoping the devs jump on this ASAP!!!
There should be some kind of reimbursement for those of us who spent $10 to download all the maps before.
Turn off the internet before you touch New Game. After the reinstall, don't scare when the game crashes after you push Restore purchases. Turn off the internet, restart the app and it works. It's a workaround for now. And as I mentioned in a previous post, they've mailed me that the fix is with Apple for review. So yeah, they're on it asap.
Update is out! Seems everything is working now ... Nevertheless: I purchased everything on the first day and had no chance to use it! Then they dropped the price before I was able to play it ... now a "map package" ... it is a shame for everyone who paid the full "first day special price" ... At least they could offer a Steam coupon for the Windows Version or something like that ...
The update is out and all works fine now. Map pack is good value, reminds me of an old saying "Never do today what you can put off till next week". Something like that ##
