This game is way more relaxed than Skullduggery though, it lets you finish the level on your own pace. It also ads a leveling system and permadeath. Yes your egz can die come again your egz can die ok. So you have to hatch a new egz and start all over leveling up and all and to be honest I really like it this way, you have to be more carefull with your egz, you start to love your egz, sounds familiar, I never seen this in an IOS game before as I can recall. Some people will call this grinding and it is, but in a good way, you just have to replay a couple of levels you played earlier to level up quickly, that's all, I don't mind because I just saw level 1 in world 2 and it's really to my liking.
