Yeah the trick to those is using your spirits to defeat them. Fire beats Wind; Wind beats Water; and Water beats Fire. You don't have to defeat all the enemies to clear a level. Knowing that has helped me a lot. Those tough enemies won't attack you if you dont attack them. I usually leave them alone most of the time. I also try to kill the portals fast so it doesn't keep pumping out enemies. If I only knew where to use lottery tickets.....
Can someone tell me where the lottery is? The game keeps telling me about it in the "Tips" but I can't find it anywhere. Really loving the game so far, even though there are a lot of loading screens. I was also looking for a place where I can read all the tips again, because sometimes the loading screen is so fast that I can't read everything that's written.
Is there actually a point in defeating all of them? More EXP or something? Sometimes I get some item but most of the times nothing. Also, wow, the special level is difficult, LOL. I'll go back there when I'm a higher level.
Even with the spirits it takes around 3 casts, which is kinda hard since even at full mana you get, what? 2 honestly I'm the same way I try not to even fight them which is hard because I'm a gaming perfectionist so killing everything in every level is what I do
After you unlock the lottery don't forget about your follower/follow-e lists. I logged on this morning and had 28 tickets as gifts/return gifts . Lol Edit: your follow list is available before you get lottery just in case my post made it sound like it wasn't.
This game looks like an excellent quality premium game but before I purchase it I am concerned about the games combat. Is it simply swiping your enemies with your sword? The video suggests that combat is just a second consideration. Are there combat skills and talents? Are there combat stats and feedback? Is there any tactical element to the combat? Has anyone played this on the 12.9" iPad Pro? Do the menu's, interface, etc, line up properly? I have occasionally bought previous games that were never tested on the big iPad and some of the graphics were cut off due to the resolution. Thanks.
you played star dew valley or harvest moon? this game is more like that than an rpg and combat is dice rolls and the higher dice you roll the more damage you do to enemies. also guys here is my friend code E432437407675 if you wanna follow
Got to spend a little more time with the game today at home over wifi, so here are some early-game impressions. The dialogue is really whimsical, punny, and cute. I love it. The artwork is spectacular -- I'm a sucker for a 2D hand-drawn game like this. The game seems to load quite fast over wifi. I haven't had any connection issues today like I did over LTE yesterday. The music is as light and whimsical as the dialogue, and just makes for a cute, fun environment. Currently what I'd love to see change is that I can't see what's happening in the Tips when you get all these loading screens. The good part, things load fast, but the bad -- I can't see the tips at all and feel like I'm missing critical pieces of information. This could easily be solved with a "Tap to Continue" or something, that way the player can read at their own pace rather than an insta-flash of text and then gone. Another solution would be to have the tips listed somewhere in the Settings -- even unlockable, so you don't get all the tips at once, but if it flashes one, you can go read it later in the Settings. Overall, aside from the HUGE elephant in the room, I'm happy that I bought this game. I'd buy it again despite big elephant. This should be a fun playthrough, and it's a nice break from Splatoon 2 (which I've been binging on a bit too much lately haha). If you have good wifi / LTE, don't let the connection thing stop you if you want to play a cute, fun game made by some legendary game devs. Anyone else get a little bit of "Ever Oasis" vibe? Been enjoying that one on 3DS as well.
yes forgot to mention the dialogue in this game is actually really great and funny. definitely a light hearted and fun adventure.
Finally pulled the trigger. It's pretty fun so far - the beginning is a bit overwhelming with all the things you can do / btw should I be saving items or should I gift the items I have whenever I can for friendship and exp?
Yeah sometimes it feels like this was suppose to be a free to play game but it is premium so you will definitely get more of those items, so don't worry. I only been gifting to Robin at the moment myself though lol
I've been enjoying this game a lot Anyone playing can add me for lottery tickets. I am currently level 10 and will follow back those who followed me as long as it's not full yet E221934091196
Really enjoying this game so far. I just unlocked the lottery, so I'm looking for followers and people that I can follow. I will add the codes above and here's mine: E833527926716.
You just click on the Menu button on the right of your screen and scroll to the right until you see the Friends option. Your own code shows on your card and you can search for people with their code. The lottery shows up on the map, if you unlocked it through the story.
