I love you, man. Definitely got that ball rolling. I've now got the secrets to the first 6 levels and can safely say between all the puke, graphics, sound effects, controls, 3 types of gameplay (traditional platformer, exploratory & speed), Eggggg may have secured a spot on my list of favorite games of 2016. This is incredible.
yeah, it's really good, a wonderful surprise! btw, i'm still wondering why there are devs that publish silly games and claim can't support older iOSs, and then roll in the store guys like this, with a gorgeous game that runs like a charm also on prehistoric devices like a 4S with iOS 7. can someone explain me why?

Am i the only one having problems with the controls here? I want to like this game but some levels become needlessly hard because of the control scheme. Will it ruin the game to have a standard button setup?
yeah, could be a reason... nice to see you here Glorkbot, loved your Trials of Glork! is there a chance for a sequel?
It's the controls that are the hit, or miss of this game. I can see why it's getting a lot of accolade, it's definitely top quality once you go beyond, but the randomly alternating controls? That's the hardest thing to get to terms with.
Play the first level a few times in succession. I can almost promise they'll click in minutes. Oh, and congrats on the 5 star review!
Thanks guys! So happy with the review (of course)!! There's currently no MFi support, but I'm sure we'll add that soon. About the controllers: I think the control system is the part we've spent the most time on developing, and have tested out a bunch of variations. I really hate on-screen buttons and virtual joysticks, so we always wanted to avoid those. Also swipes and gestures really don't work well for this sort of gameplay that needs a lot of precision. So we knew we needed to limit the input to 1 or 2-touch, and after a lot of user testing we ended up with the current system. It takes a few levels for you to get comfortable with them, but once you do they are superior to any of the other we have tried. And we are really happy with them! People seem to either hate it or love it - which I guess is normal when you try something different
Mentally it's the note you need one hit to switch directions and a second to jump in that direction. I also think many games allow for an opposite direction wall jump without a touch. This you can only spring off the wall and not switch directions in the air
Bought the game based on the review. It's a pretty decent little platformer. Thanks for the new game! Edited : After a few rounds, the controls feel really great. Really fun so far. No controller support 'needed' here..
Big ups Hyper Games! I'm loving this! I agree with MC and the controls are intuitive after a mild learning curve Only through the first handful of levels, but can already see I'll enjoy playing through this multiple times
I reckon the controls are very intuitive. It took about 30 seconds to get my head around them. Really enjoying this game so far, congrats to the devs.
Great game, although in having abit trouble with the controls when flying. But I can't agree with the reviewer more, lvl 15 is worth the money alone
