Please note that I think this game is one of the most amazing games I've played on the iPad. It truly is. I'm just new to it and without having someone sit down to explain things step by step is making it a real struggle for me. Anyway, my post and yes I plan on watching some videos and giving a good read of the manual: BigDaddysCreations Well-Known Member Jul 8, 2010 377 0 0 Software Developer Poland http://www.neuroshimahex.com #8 BigDaddysCreations, Apr 30, 2013 I'll get back to you and try explaining the things you have problems with, but I don't really have the time to do it now. drdreh Well-Known Member Jul 17, 2012 172 0 0 #9 drdreh, Apr 30, 2013 Campaign mode? sapphire_neo Well-Known Member Jan 20, 2011 3,934 0 0 #10 sapphire_neo, Apr 30, 2013 I'm going to chime in and say the tutorial was fairly well done for a complex resource management game. The manual as well is neatly laid out and explains most things in a concise manner. Aventador Well-Known Member Jan 16, 2013 933 1 0 Student Croatia #11 Aventador, Apr 30, 2013 Tutorial is very good, got lot of usefull info from it and I'm totally new to 4x genre so I was a bit afraid that complex rules will demoralize me from playing.Manual is huge, still need to read it , silly me thinking that BotB had huge rulebook Interface and animations are beautiful, maybe to make dragging research items and updates a bit smoother and sharpen up text dialogue in tutorial strivemind Well-Known Member Aug 11, 2010 2,784 2 38 Designer Ottawa, Canada http://www.strivemind.com/ #12 strivemind, Apr 30, 2013 I've definitely been waiting for this. The dev's did a great job with Neuroshima Hex, and I'm sure their treatment of Eclipse is fantastic too. Also, I can never get my wife or other friends we play with to get into one of these big strategy games, so having asynch play on my iPad is ingenious. abstractgamefreak Well-Known Member Aug 22, 2009 418 0 16 Male Musician Germany http://www.facebook.com/eskalationband #13 abstractgamefreak, Apr 30, 2013 I really enjoy those boardgames, where the iPad relieves you of all the book-keeping stuff. As with Alien Frontiers, I will play this much more often on my iPad than the real thing. Great app, tx guys! This is the same Eclipse as the board game? Sold!!! I was about to pass it up as I have quite a few 4x games on my iPad, but I make it a point to buy boardgame translations, especially ones that I love! And like another poster said, its hard to get a group of people together to play something like this in the physical form (the box lies, games can last six or more hours easily) so having a digital version to keep track of rules, pieces and such is a treat! Now if only some developer would make Runebound and Twilight Imperium for iOS...
