Definite scammer, he canceled his acount and this morning I have an "official looking" email from eBay and paypal saying he paid (spoof email accounts to look official). Then a personal email trying to get me to send it out asap. I've already relisted the bid. Is there anything else I should do Like reporting him?
It's not, He cancelled it last night, in fact ebay was the ones who emailed me and told me... I wish I could fly to nigeria and punch him in the face a couple of times...
Yeah, it sucks. I've had a few 419ers try and contact me for items I was selling. Fortunately I'd already learned to use immediate payment on BINs, so they had to resort to trying to E-Mail me offers of payment exceeding my BIN price as an apparent incentive to cancel the auction and sell privately, plus an overpayment on shipping to Nigeria. They were soundly ignored. (Notwithstanding that I do not ship outside North America anyway.)
