      lol, wow, I've never heard of those bands. Anyways, I need easy songs cuz I'm a beginner. I'm not even close to the level where I can show off.

      Actually being able to play an easy song without a massive (but not entirely non-existent) gap between chords, eh, a month or so. Finding songs with fun riffs and chords that don't require ridiculous pinky stretching is kinda tricky.

      not modern but I definitely reccomend this book:

      The Student Repertoire Series Volume 1 by Lawrence Ferrara
