You should definitley have a "conference" in upstate NY. Like in albany, i know a binch of lazer tag places as well in albany. Theres also a great amount of strip clubs lawl. Im not a dev either but I really want to start making games. PM me and i can provide you with any info you need.
an east cost meetup sounds cool. Wonder how long the drive up from DC would be? Also I don't know if I qualify since i'm still putting the finishing touches on my first iphone app (non game) for work. If it goes well, then hopefully I can get funding for a game.
10 hours? I'm near Albany (about 30 minutes away) its a pretty ugly city though - Saratoga is nice, they have lazertag too.
