Thank you for the response. In-game nickname is Nathanamus. I do play on my phone and my iPad. Both are synced to the same Game Center account and I haven't had any problems before. Also, most, if not all, of the lost progress was from my time on my phone. I didn't log in on my iPad between making that progress and logging on this morning.

I had also taken a picture of my arena stats before my progress was lost, showing stats like wins (was 20, now 7), losses (was 2, now 1), and max damage (was 88, now 36). I am happy to supply this screenshot if requested. The most noticeable losses were Mirrorgaze (with 3 spells) and Magic Archer from a recently opened pack, my gold doubler (plus another I earned though the lottery), as well as Acterak with Flow Change and Mirror (when I logged on he was "ready to claim" with Flow Chage but without Mirror).

Another odd bug I found occurred when I first logged on and went to the gold doubler this morning. It was showing that I had none but the price to buy another was showing $5.99 USD. I reset the app shortly after seeing this and my doubler was still gone but the price was correctly showing $1.99 USD. Thanks again and please let me know if assist further.

I received an e-mail this morning and my problem has been resolved. I want to thank Tequila Games for their help, quick responses, and general activity in these communities. Their ability to communicate directly with the Earthcore player base is one of the biggest points of differentiation between Tequila Games and their competitors. It gives me the confidence to invest time into their game knowing that it will be supported by a team driven by passion.

Now let's get the weekend event started!

Glad we could help you to enjoy playing Earthcore :)

And there's still some time for all of you to join our second weekend tournament with amazing rewards just for participation and for those who'll find time to climb the leaderboards. See you in Earthcore! :)

I am a big fan of card games and find Earthcore really interesting as it is something different from the usual card games. The ability to craft heroes and your username next to it if you made a unique one is very cool!

I've played through the first book of quests, opened some packs and although I have not checked out the full set of cards, I will just like to point out some things about the game flow:

    - Due to the sequencing of turns, the player who has the last activation of skill seems to be have an unfair advantage when having cards with skills that can swap positions or change elements. The opponent has no chance to respond and counter that play at all after that. It is basically like the saying "he who laughs last, last best".

    - With the game seemingly based around around outplaying the opponent on the board with positioning and card skills that usually change position or elements, I find that skills which deal direct damage to players like "Strike" to be unfitting with the majority of other cards as it doesn't affect the board at all. If I am able to get a hand of direct damage skills and have lethal, I simply play them out ignoring the board positioning and activate the skills and the opponent has no chance to counter that winning play.

I think perhaps the direct damage skills could be changed to dealing that amount of risk points to the opposing card's risk points instead, putting the focus and rewards back on playing around the board.

    - The game ends immediately once a player's life goes to zero. Due to the way the damage calculation is done from left lane to right lane, the left lane could be an even more important than the lane with the x2 multiplier because with enough damage for lethal from the risk points there, the remaining lanes do not matter as the game will have already ended at that first lane. Thus when a player approaches low health, the game board seems to "shrink" where the focus is now over fighting over fewer lanes starting from the left.

A suggestion might be to end the game only after resolving the entire board. This gives the player that is about to lose a chance to draw the game if he/she wins the remaining lanes with enough damage. It also encourages both players to focus on the entire board when strategising and play to win the entire board every time.

Some other feedback I have is regarding the positioning of the quests section. In most games, they are usually found on the main page with a dedicated button for players to easily find and have something to work towards. However in Earthcore, they are placed inside another section (Tavern) and when I was playing, I wasn't aware that there were quests at all in the game until I started exploring around the menu.

    Update:
I was interested in experimenting with the crafting of heroes but found out that any subsequent craft increases the timer required to wait. The first craft took 1 minute, the second craft took 5 minutes and now the third craft requires 10 minutes as shown in the UI. Regardless of whether I use diamonds to speed up the process or not use the card in the meantime, I still have to be extra careful with crafting and can't just experiment as freely from now on because I not only lose the cards used as materials and gold, I also increase the timer/diamonds required for subsequent crafts.

I think this should be made known to players and I went back to watch the video tutorial on crafting and the timer system wasn't explained to players at all. You have to look at the card crafting UI in the video to notice that that example is actually going to take 2 hours...

    To TequilaMobile:
    1) How much does the timer increase with each subsequent craft?
    2) When I de-craft a hero with 3 skills, does the timer get reduced?
    3) Is there a cap on the timer?

    Thanks for this extensive feedback!

Some of the matters you wrote about we already faced during the development of the game and what you can play now is the result of those decissions.

For example the last activation for the first player. In our opinion it would be much more unfair to have him use a skill in the first turn, while there are no other cards on the table to interact with. Sure, right now the first player can use skills that can swap positions or change the element but that's something the second player should have in mind and adapt his tactics accordingly.

This was very important for us while designing Earthcore - to give players means to adapt their tactics as they play and not only force them to play by a strict set of rules.

The same thing is with direct attack skills, dust shots, risk multiplier or the importance of the first column. Those are variables we want players to take into account and try to counter. We also give them means for that with skills that allow you to deactivate a skill on a card, exhaust a skill activation in the turn or copy someones skill to use it against the opponent. We worked hard to make sure that for every skill and possible tactics there is always a countermeasure that for example will allow you to deadlock in the first row or move the multiplier to a row where you can inflict the biggest damage.

I hope this paints a better picture of our intensions for Earthcore.

As for the quests - we want players to discover them in time, usualy after the first quest they accomplish when they receive a prompt that something new is waiting for them in the Tavern. Do you have some ideas on how we could make them more visible?

    1) It depends - it starts with 5 minutes each time, 10 minutes after sixth crafting and continue to increase accordingly.
    2) Yes.
    3) Yes, it's 72 hours.

If I'm going second and have 3 cards with direct damage skills, I can put them down and activate the direct damage skill immediately, completely ignoring the board. The opponent does not have a countermeasure to that.

In my opinion, "Quests" could have a section by itself instead of being inside "Tavern". The section names like "Tavern" and "Armoury" may be thematic to the game but I still have problem in making out what each of them is sometimes. I might have probably read the prompt you mentioned but didn't understand that there is a section named Tavern that I have to go to at that time? Perhaps if the prompt can just tell users to check out the "Quest section for more quests" with a dedicated Quest section, it may be clearer...

With a timer system so complicated, I definitely think it should be included in the crafting video tutorial and made known to the players.

Well, the way we see it is that the battle can be fought on various levels - not only on the board. That's why for example we have skills that allow you to swap cards kept in the hand with the enemy, force your enemy to draw new set od cards to his hand, etc.

As for the direct damage skills. Sure, they can be used to inflict painful damage, sometimes even finish the battle earlier but first you need to get to this point in the battle. It's impossible to build an entire deck only around direct damage because it would be useless - you can easily win on the board before your enemy defeats you with only the direct damage skills.

Hello. I'm a new player here. In the Arena, I notice there is no chat function off-battle for friends. I figure it will be better for people to communicate and sort of plan when to play? (Or is it that I just didn't see the button for chat). Also, the stats when you click a friend's profile are only general battle stats. How about showing the specific stats for the matches between the two? (For example how many wins/losses against that particular person).
One more question, I am at book 4 of the campaign now. Is there a way to "farm" cards after I have claimed all the rewards in the campaign? And gold is gonna be harder to get after campaign I suppose....:(
And of course, great game! Keep up the good work.

You can speak with other players off-battle on our forum or Facebook group - right now we don't have plans to add a general chat into the game. As for comparing stats between two players - we have it on our list of features we'd like to add in the near future, so this should happen some day :)

You can still receive new cards and booster packs when leveling up and in special events but mostly we recommend playing on the Arena to gain gold for new booster packs.

Other way would be inviting some friends to the game, so they would use your in-game nick as a referrer. You both get the rewards and you also get additional rewards when your friends continue to play and level up.

I have another question (lol). What is the prestige for climbing the league is the Arena (besides quest rewards). What do u guys think about increasing the rewards for higher leagues? Bronze can be 750 per win, silver is 1000, gold 1250 and so on.

We plan to add season rewards in the Arena based on players achievements and place in the rankings.

Your idea is good too but it would require checking if this kind of differences in the rewards don't ruin the game's economic balance.

There's a huge update for the game on Android right now that iOS players should also check out and look forward to as we plan to release it for iPhone and iPad in mid-September.

The update includes new game features:

    Card lottery

Hey i am loving the game so far. One question, how do I get to the card lottery? For the life of me I can't find it or any screenshots of it... Looked everywhere in the strategium. I have a galaxy note 4.

I know I would love this game, but I can't get past the initial screen without crashing. Is anyone else having this problem? I have a 6plus and am running the most recent iOS version.

Since you're playing on Android, the card lottery is no longer available on this platform. We replaced it with the Forge. Soon this option will be also available on iOS.

Which version of the iOS do you have exactly? We can try to solve this here or you can write to [email protected] and they will help you directly.

I am running 8.1.3 on my iPhone and 8.1.4 on my iPad. The same thing happens on both devices. While on the startup screen (the one where it is building the world) my GameCenter login gets stuck at the top of the screen (where it says "welcome cprloe") and then the game crashes and returns to my phone's home screen.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling on both devices multiple times and have done multiple hard resets.

I hope you can help becuase I would love to try the game!

I wonder - do you happen to have more than 500 friends in Game Center?
