Thanks for all the kind words! We want to release the Android version in a few months, probably early autumn.
How does the Arena matchmaking work? I keep getting drawn against people 20-30 levels above my own. I can't even remember the last time I was drawn against someone below my own level. P.S. If you'd like to add me, my ID is: romiem
We're constantly improving the matchmaking algorithm. It start by searching for available players on your level and expand the search to less and more experienced players based on who is available to play at the moment, so you don't have to wait to long for an opponent. Were you able to outsmart and defeat those stronger enemies?
Sorry to hear that, we hope to improve it very soon. Changing a topic a little bit, we wrote a short guide on how to share your gameplay replays from the game using Everyplay tool. You can check it out on our blog. And don't hesitate to post your videos in this topic too! http://earthcoregame.tumblr.com/post/121011339973/video-sharing-in-earthcore-check-out-how-easy-it
you can always try the serpent with the chant of barter. i've had a couple of newer players trade all their starter cards for my heroes and that can be pretty brutal. as far as i can tell the trade lasts for the entirety of the game
Sometimes I can beat stronger opponents, but only if their level is not orders of magnitude greater than my own. Those with levels 50+ tend to have highly refined decks, whereas I still have a lot of filler cards occupying my slots.
Include an option that allows us to filter out or in opponents who are overwhelmingly stronger (or even a slider to specify how high the level cap is allowed to rise in lieu of evenly matched opponents*). * With an inverse cap, of course, to prevent exploits.
a player with a high level has many more cards with three hero skill and frustrates efforts to impose its own strategy
Something Ive noticed lately is that the card shuffler is way off. I have an evenly balanced deck with my elements, yet I constantly get dealt hands that are the same element, even when I mulligan and use my "re-deal" options. Any way to tweak this?
This is a good idea which we'll consider although it should be totally optional because some players could get overwhelmed by it. We're looking for the best solution that would make it a little less random and not predictable at the same time. This should improve after our first big next update.
id remove mimic mage and doppelganger from your deck. in my experience you never want a card that starts as dust because it makes you too vulnerable to void/exhaust effects. if you want a similar effect and are up against high power heroes changeling is a much better option. if mimic mage worked against heroes i think it would be ok but since it doesnt i find it doesnt pay the bills. the cards i continuously find useful against p2w players are spymistress, gorgon, mage slayer, winter giant, magic archer, calm giant and behemoth to flip the risk multiplier. ice rogue is also great but i haven't been lucky enough to pull any of those.
Thanks for the tip for the Deck, but the picture just wanted to demonstrate the difference in level between the players. Also note the points against 68 vs 51 life of two players which involve a deck full of heroes with skill 3
This game is so great! But I am a bit upset, because I was dumb enough to leave my phone on the table and my 6-y-o son shredded 90% of my cards in the lottery. And I had dozens of cards... had. I even can't be mad at him because he thought he helped me to earn gold and diamonds. *sigh* Well, you win some, you lose some.
Here's another request. Can we have a one-time reminder to renew the coin doubler? Then if you say no, that's it? I missed it by 10 minutes and I don't want to keep buying them.
I posted this as a submission to your support email, but I've noticed that Chant powers used by my opponents have 'locked up' the game on multiple occasions... I have cleared the RAM prior to playing and I'm using an IPad Air 2 with iOS 8.3. Nickname: Mordenkainen Thanks!
I honestly can't believe this game hasn't had more attention. I think it's one of the best card games that I've played on iOS! One suggestion: would you consider increasing the coin rewards the higher you progress through the ranks? Or does that serve to widen the gap between rich and poor? I also agree with the poster above that the coin doubler needs a notification to indicate when it is about to expire. Nickname: romiem
