Actually first touch never sucked. Plus the through pass was the regular pass and you could do through pass with it. Maybe fifa does the same.

Are you talking about lobbed pass? If so, yes you can do lobbed pass but no through pass. I am talking about FIFA 11's dedicated button to do through passes!

In fts you can through pass, you do it manually which makes it better

yeah that's what I tried to told him + there's option for the players to cross automatically. There's lobbed, regular and shoot button and from regular pass you can manually do through passes which I hope FIFA would do. And they could also use the same method for sprint like FTS had in joystick.

You could be right because the console version comes Monday the 26th which is tomorrow. The reason I said 5 days left is because We usually see apps on Thursdays in this case the 29th. Anyway, now I am even more excited if it comes tommorow :)

    According to pocket-in, http://www.pocket-lint.com/news/42211/fifa-12-ipad-2-preview
FIFA 12 will have a challenge mode in addition to the manager mode. Here is what they said.... " Taking things a stage further, you’ll also get a daily challenge mode. This is essentially a new challenge that arrives each day, designed to give you a quick 10 or 15 minute game, rather than diving into an important match in your season. The example we got was Arsenal being 2-0 down against Man United after 78 minutes and you have to basically come in and win the match". This sounds awesome and caint wait for the 29th :)

I think gamigo78 was right but not on the shoot button.
On pass button if you slide up the through pass will emerge.
They cannot put 3+ buttons on screen because there is no visual space for screen.

Anyhow the graphics are great because of the shadows and high def players.
From FIFA 11 the players look refined, with more visual contrast.

Did u saw a picture made from your fifa 11 iphone on your computer? it looks way lower than those from FIFA 12.

Well done with sprint button, now people won't run like hell.

Apparently graphics have been Jazzed up even more for iPad 2. EA wouldn't allow screenshots released for iPad 2.

Do we know official launch yet?? Console is 30th and many shops opening midnight on 29th.

As this is Thursday/Friday, does this mean we have to wait another day also?

Anyone knows if they kept touch to pass?? I will be seriously pissed if they remove that, it´s what sets it apart from PES, and also what makes it unique when compared with PSP/ds versions

FIFA 11 is the only iOS game i´ve kept playing one entire years, i´ve spend hours and hours with it...so i´m pretty excited about this

It`s a cool feature, I don`t think they had any reason to remove that so it will probably be present on FIFA12 as well.

I don't remember them ever announcing an official release date for ios, but I assumed it was coming the night of the 26th which would coincide with with the U.S. console versions release, on the 27th. That's what happened last year, anyway.

You're correct. Press releases also mention simultaneous release including IOS on the 27th, however, it's not currently looking the case or I guess we would have seen it out in NZ by now...
