iThink this is the 1st time the iDevices are in their Strongest position every Check Siggy for what iPod touch 4 has become! They wanna cash in on the 1st iPod touch with Camera Sales, more devices more buyers!
Just did this and came up with around 87 games. But some of those were lite free versions. I'm anxious to see what will be excluded from this. Unfortunately, I have most of the EA games I'd want except a few of the newer ones. I'll be watching! Edit: just realized I was searching on my iPod Touch so the iPad versions did not come up. Probably is well over 75 paid apps including those.
Today brings back memories from the iPhone 4 release day in the App Store when Gameloft, EA, and pretty much any other developer went bananas on sales. And of course, how can you forget about the recent Black Friday sales?
was reading in another thread in this section, that it's only in the Weekends ? guess have to wait another hour to see if it's today.
Dammit, I already own all of the ones I want. Someone remind me to not buy any games next year until Christmas...
All these games from most of the big compaines are gonna be on sale around Christmas anyway, EA just trying to get ahead a bit. Wish Namco and Gameloft would do the same early.
Actually, I think EA is trying to help keep their games afloat in the ranks even with all these new releases which could easily knock them down. Hence the sale the same day as a massive release day. PLUS next week the app store freezes so whatever games are in the ranks at the end of this week get prime time spots for the holiday shoppers to see.
