I don't even see inversion as a control option, it is a game setting.

    Fussy fussy!

    Me too. ;)

And I wish there were an option in N.O.V.A. to invert the gyro (love the precision, but it's the opposite of how I'd like it to act...:()

Tell you what, those three games all have serious game play and other issues. They may arguably be considered to be better than the others, but all in all a huge letdown never-the-less considering what they could be and should be, coming from one of the biggest gaming companies. Issues could easily be fixed if they cared, and I definitely agree with you on that, but the point is, they SHOULD care. Don't you think sometimes reputation is important just like revenue? What about the kid who owns a console, but first he gets it here, then thinks it sucks, then doesn't bother with with the console version? Shows it could work the other way around as well. Whatever.......it is what it is.........

No, it's not. This is the problem. It's a way you control the game, not how the game plays.

Ok I dont think your getting the point let me be clearer.
    1) Research and find out about the game before you buy. Assuming is a no-no when it comes to spending your money.
    2) When in doupt about purchasing a game ,if its from a console developer, DON'T spend your money. From my exp , indie games usually are a better risk by a mile.

Look you seem to be taking the responses as this is some sort of a debate. I dont know how long you had your iphone/ipod but these are the rules everybody here silently follows. Thats why most of us are very happy with our purchases and have very little to complain about. Iam sorry EA didnt give you the inverted controls ,so send EA a message and dont buy thier games. Thats what most people do , dont let them trick or tempt you again. And yes thier games will be very tempting!!!

TouchArcade exists so that you can ask these kinds of questions before spending your money.

This isn't a question that I had ever had to ask before, but now it apparently is.

And I quote myself in case the point didnt get across. Actually if this is the 1st time a game hasnt given you the option you wanted your lucky. Also EA is never going to read this thread , but if it was an indie developer he would be working on an update as we speak.

There is an EA rep on the boards. I am more than sure that they have looked at this thread for feedback. Whether they choose to update is a different story but EA does listen.

Yes there is a game evil rep , capcom rep, etc. But do you think thier going to look through and read every post. Most Reps just concentrate on the actual game threads , where this concern should have been brought up in the 1st place.

Uh, no. This issue does not only apply to BC2, but to their other premier FPS, Dead Space. And no, I am not going to put it in the game thread where it will be buried in a matter of minutes. Yemi, I don't think you are even reading what I am typing. The main problem isn't that they left out look inversion from BC2, but the fact that it has been 4 months since its release and they haven't patched it. In February I sent an e-mail to EA's mobile division to no avail. I know that I am not the only one irked by this. You, in your infinite wisdom may believe that adding such an option would be catering to a minuscule player base, but EA seems to be the only one with this problem. For example, the new Rainbow Six game has an "invert Y Axis" option.
