Is SimCity worth it? Heard it's riddled with bugs which make the game crash... can anyone vouch for this?
Definetley, its a lot of fun. I've heard of crashes and bugs but it runs perfectly on my device. Its a steal at 1.99 if you have enjoyed SimCity games previously. It is the only EA game I can wholeheartily reccomend
I don't think there are any major bugs in Sim City, but it was pretty hard. Getting every house supplied with water is often a bitch, also getting good transportation systems can be hard, but I'd say it's worth the $1.99.
I'm considering Skate it and Scrabble(I have Word with Friends free version) can anyone comment on them...something solid? Thanks.
I got Sim City when it came out. It's alright, there aren't huge bugs anymore... but it's a bit more awkward on an iPhone to build roads, etc.
Can you give me (in detail) why I should get Skate it? I've had an eye on it for a while but wasn't too sure about the swipe/accelerometer controls...
picked up battleship one of my favorite classic games now i dont need to keep track of the pegs Muahahahahaha
I bought Skate It when it came out and haven't really played it since. At first I was impressed by how genuine it felt, the locations are remarkably accurate for a iPhone (or DS) game, and the controls were amazing. But since I've gotten to larger ares, like the Mega Ramp and the Spillway, it's been lagging horribly on my 3GS with over 1 gigabyte of free space. I can't even input swipes because it'll hitch for a second and not recognize what I'm doing. I'll just ride off a ramp, or the line I drew will stay on the screen and activate when I press the "push" button. I wouldn't recommend it, but I might be the only one experiencing this. The underlying game is fantastic, but I can't get to most of it
Anyone else have this problem too? I have a 2nd gen touch, which is basically full btw... And is Tetris worth it with no endless mode?
It's good that there's a sale and everything, but EA just makes a stupid sale imo every month and drop their overpriced games by like one or two dollars, and yet it's still largely unworth the money. I'll pass on this.
Tetris sort of has an endless mode, there are * levels, the higher the level the faster the blocks fall... but not a true marathon mode
