EA games coming soon...SSX Snowboarding

I'm so anxious I am beside myself. After many hours on my N-Gage a few years ago, I want to play!

i'm pretty excited for this as long as they don't try and charge the full 10.

 

SSX On Tour bombed. The whole series bombed as soon as skis were added, oddly enough. Tricky and SSX3 are where it's at.

 

Anyone have a estimated release date?

 

I can't wait till SSX for iPhone comes out.
SSX 3 was one of my favourite games on the ol' PS2.
Such a slick and beautiful game, as well as being a lot of fun.

 

It is confirmed to be in 2009, so probably late autumn/winter time.

I think that winter would be a great time for the game to come out, actually. Fits the game. I'm waiting, and I am excited.

So far, I am yet to be impressed by EA's iPhone games.

 

I disagree. One can make a very good case that Tiger Woods Golf may be the best game on the iPhone. NFS was considered the best racer when it came out and I enjoy Madden Football.

 

i think this game is still far from release
only C&C and NBA Live is listed as "coming soon" of EA
so maybe we won't have any update on this thread yet

 

If you're wondering what happened to this game, it turns out that a new SSX is coming out next year for consoles, so maybe EA delayed the iPhone release to coincide with that.

This was announced sometime last year and I was hoping for a winter release... Just not a years late winter

It came from the rumour miner, but it sounds like it's probably more than just a rumour.

It is a rumour until EA speaks, but it's certainly the conclusion I jumped to. It would be great to see if they put in some effort, X2 Snowboarding is a favourite of mine.
Don't expect this until somewhere around Q3 2011 if memory serves me right
