I read the whole post but I snipped it for brevity. I did want to comment on this segment though: I am aware the PS4 is crushing the Xbox One in voting. But that's why I am feeling so passionate about it, because I can't believe how stupid the internet is being. I don't think the sheep understand how ignorant they're being.

I'm not saying everyone who is choosing the Sony conference over the Microsoft one is ignorant or a sheep. I'm sure there are many independent folk that have that opinion. I just have a feeling that the vast majority is people that have extreme bias. They went in wanting to hate Microsoft, they hated Microsoft. They went in wanting to stroke Sony's ego, and they were blinded by the blatant failures and terrible choices Sony made during their press conference... determined to see Sony as the victor.

It's just a stupid psychology thing. I am having a hard time explaining it. Sorry.

And I don't disagree with your post at all. You are correct on all points.

My beef with this is that people are demonstrating their stupidity once again, and the internet also shows, yet again, how terribly viral it can be, whether it's for good or evil.

Honestly, the fact that Sony failed to mention that FFXV and KHIII were multiplatform makes me think they are the worse company. Do you know how many people supported Sony and Squaresoft/Square-Enix all these years, in hopes of that third Kingdom Hearts game and Versus XIII? Tons. And it was pretty much confirmed that they would both be exclusive to Sony consoles. And now they do this. Square-Enix really screwed their fanbase with Final Fantasy XIII... but these other two games? Ugh.

Never mind about Sony being worse because of that. That is actually more of a Square-Enix problem. But Sony supported it for some odd reason.

I see saanslit conveniently skipped over my entire post. I mean, seriously... is there a way I can prove to you that I'm not a fanboy of Microsoft? I despise Windows, I think the Xbox 360 is a piece of crap (a fun piece of crap), the company has always been behind the curve in terms of technological innovations (with the exception of Xbox Live and perhaps the original Xbox Live Arcade on the original Xbox), they ripped off the Sony EyeToy and sucked at it, the only really great exclusives for them come from Rare (and Rare has been sucking majorly since Kinect)... Seriously, the only exclusives that matter for Microsoft nowadays (on the Xbox 360) are First-Person Shooter 1, Third-Person Shooter 1, Forza Motorsport, Fable.

This generation is losing the meaning of gaming. It used to be all about the exclusives. In this sense, I am completely on Sony's side. They have an unprecedented amount of variety in their exclusives... they have Folklore, Metal Gear Solid 4, Ratchet and Clank series, Buzz Quiz Show (or whatever it's called), Gran Turismo... and the best thing is that it feels like they have a fresh one every year. Now that I think about it, perhaps Sony does have a lot of shooter exclusives, but they also have tons of other games in different genres. The king of exclusives for me, though, will always be Nintendo. Like I said, if anything, I'm a Nintendo fanboy.

I really despise people taking my opinion with a grain of salt because of my username. Seriously. If my name is Adolf Hitler, will people run in fear of me even though I have no relation to him? Probably, knowing how stupid the internet is.

 

Why didn't you mention that MGSV is also coming to PS4? And Destiny looks pretty cool too. I don't know, so far I can't find a single reason for me to take an interest in XBox One.

Anyho, it wasn't sony's job to say the games where multiplatform.
That doesn't make them the worse company.

 

Was Ghosts confirmed? Hm... maybe the Wii U isn't doing as terribly as originally thought! I was pretty sure Activision and EA swore off the Wii U for the time being, until sales picked up.

Destiny is hugely ambitious and has a very interesting map of how they will be doing things. But that gameplay they showed was seriously underwhelming. I'm thinking it will get better with more people doing these instances and stuff, though, so I am not swearing that game off at all.

You sure? Because the way that you said it up there, that wasn't joking. That reeked of snarky superficial snideness. But all right, benefit of the doubt.

the only way it would truly be castlevania was if it was 2d and continued the stories of the previous titles. I still welcome this new take on the series as I find playing dracula as he goes on his journey to become the villain pretty damn entertaining. And I wouldn't really consider it tricking people when there is a wealth of articles and videos to give people a good grasp on how the game is. As far as 3d goes, this is the best 3d castlevania in my opinion. But im curious to know, what do you think would make it castlevania gameplay wise?

 

I second this notion. As of now, ps4 has my moneys. But its definitely not a day one buy though. Ps3/360 still have some life to it, with plenty of great games coming this upcoming year.

Also, to all of those who were expecting Nintendo to put a massive show in the ND, you do realise that they might want to even out great news over the entire year instead of in this one place? That is one thing that Nintendo can do that the other console publishers can. I agree that Sony easily won E3 this year, but can they just do that at will any time this year? No. So don't worry about Nintendo not announcing a lot and just go back to worrying about the lack of games
