If I remember correctly it was for a two day period when the universal version hit (for new buyers and previous buyers of the iPad version)

I picked this up while on sale and am really enjoying it. I like this stealth game much more than the others I have. I haven't bothered with the line drawing control option. The d-pad works great.

Is a lite version available? I know that this is obly 99 cents, but its gameplay seems rather unique. Which means I might love it, might hate it. Plus, I reallllly want to pick up Pugs Love Synths. Yuppers, I got weird tastes in games.

Haha, sorry for what appears to be me stalking you in every thread and correcting you, but you're on a roll today. First it was Last Chance Heroes and now it's Pugs Love Synths...Last Class Heroes and Pugs Luv Beats. *runs away*

LOL, don't worry...I've had more than one relationship go downhill after I called my gf by the wrong name...at the wrong time...

Sad thing is that I'm not joking.

This is definitely one of the best games I've played on my iPad in quite some time.

I just rated this 5 stars. It's fantastic and gets even better as it goes. Spend the 99 cents, it's totally worth it!

Forget the gameplay, the visuals are worth the $1 alone

Quick question...how does it play on an iphone? I've purchased a number of universal apps that should have probably stayed ipad only.

Thabks Ninjackid and SyntheticVoid. Believe you me, I don't suffer slowdown or hiccups in ANY games...after all, the 4S has similar specs to the ipad2.

I was referring to the gameplay experience...some universal apps are just not meant to be played on an iphone. Whether it's text size, gui size, having to pan and zoom, etc.

    But...whatever, I'm buying it :).

Just wanted to mention, some hardware intensive games play better in a 3gs/3rd gen ipod, because the resolution is often easier on the eyes.

Is there somewhere it tells you what level you are on and how many levels are left? I have no idea how far into the game I am.

i guess you've already bought it, but for what it's worth, the game plays great on the smaller screen and it felt quite natural, like I never got the feeling that it was a game that was originally designed for the ipad which I get with some universal apps.

I didn't originally design Dynamite Jack for the iPhone. (I never planned on porting it there.) But after making it for the iPad, I found that the gameplay worked just fine on the iPhone.

So then I had to spent a month re-doing all the menus so they work on the iPhone. (If you play it on both, you'll see that they are different on each device.)

Also - there are 28 official missions, so .. that's how far you are from the end, I guess. Then there's tons of community maps :)

    Cheers!
    -Phil

    Hi Phil,

Thanks for chiming in. I mentioned this earlier in the thread, but your game is a keeper and one of the true gems on my iDevice. Good stuff, man.
