Last time I quit I could not purple 77, I did it once but could not do it anymore, so I deleted the game again out of frustration Ha Ha. So the first move for level 77 would be nice.
I also see on youtube there is a company or somebody who is doing the levels with 10 at a time and they are on level 50 now, so I wanna finish this game on my own before it's all on youtube. Are you O.K. Alex with that. I mean people putting the levels on youtube so anybody can finish this game now. Well you can't stop them or can you.
The trick is to get as many connections as possible with each move, so: After one move Spoiler 5 pieces are connected. After the second move Spoiler 11 pieces are connected. Hope this helps ... enjoy.
I'm still in awe about how well the UI is designed, like when you get out of a level back to the menu, there is this small dot indicating which was the last level played. Attention to details that really makes a difference to me
I couldn't agree more. Words like intuitive, elegant, and gorgeous get overused, but all three truly apply to Dwelp. I hope Alex makes a LOT of money on this and that other developers take notice that there is a market for high quality apps. Personally, I would rather pay more for quality than have to waste so much time wading through all of the dreck.
I got this far myself but there needs to be one specific move I am not seeing, so I keep trying thanks.
Didn't want to spoil it for you by being too specific, but here is the first move that I used (in Alex's chessboard style notation): Spoiler D2 to D5 to make a set of 5 pieces If you still need a hint, then: Spoiler The piece now on D5 back to D2 for a total of 11 connected Don't feel bad. This one took me a LONG time also. But, as someone else said, once you see it, it is simple.
Hey! Welcome back (again)! =) I have noticed those walkthroughs too (they got to No. 60 in the meantime). Since I can't do anything about it, I have to learn to be ok with it. It's not necessarily bad, since people can still choose not to use those hints, so it's not a big deal. Thanks a lot, saosijs! Indeed, I have paid a lot of attention to the little details that make up a nice experience (my wife says that I was a little too obsessed with every tiny little thing =), but it's great to see people appreciating that! "A lot of money" is very relative... What I can say is that for as long as the game was featured by Apple (about 6 days), it has been great. After that exposure faded, the sales took a head dive. But what matters the most is that the reception was awesome. In fact, I have never expected for it to become a 5 star game on the App Store reviews. I totally agree that there is a market for high quality games and hopefully more developers will take heed. Being an avid gamer myself, I love high quality, premium puzzle games, which are quite rare these days. But maybe that will change...
Just threw a couple of bucks the developer's way. Always, always appreciate a color-based game that has a colorblind mode. I know I'm late to the party, but this is fantastic so far.
Just purpele'd X5, now only X4 to purple and X6 not solved yet. Got X6 solved, just two to purple X4 and X6. Any hint for X4 would be appreciated.
In case you missed them, Roundabyte (Alex) posted some clues at the bottom of page 11 and the top of page 12 of this thread.
Just got X4 purpled wow one more to go and that is X6, I got that in 13 moves so one move less and it's done. Got X6 as well so the whole game finished I am no:5 on the leaderboard and with y2kmp3 there are now 6 people who have finished the game. It took me 3 times too complete the game because I deleted it 2 times out of frustration, but it was always a pleasure to play, and as I said earlier one of the finest puzzlers on IOS to date. Looking forward to the new puzzles in Januari because I won't delete it anytime soon.
Well done, Roger! Congratulations! Your perseverance is amazing! =) You are the 6th person to finish it, but the first one who (almost) completed it three times... =)
