Probably one of the best picks in the game, you'll need to find the secret corridor and have enough energy to reach it. It's pretty far back. I use it exclusively right now since it nets a bonus 60% to energy.
Makes it REALLY easy to blaze through levels like nothing. Selling obtained loot still gives a nice flow of cash. I'm wanting to upgrade things to Mighty, though I don't know when I am able to do that. I have 2k gold sitting in my stash with nothing to spend it on. Also got meself a nice old Dome Helm, and a Glowbug Backpack. Needed more tech as I was sitting at 16 for a long time.
Which level up to 31 do you folks find most efficient for farming gold (using the x2 gold pick)? Liked the Guild level today. Was a bit tricksy.
Was mining 4, but I'm sure there's better...just haven't gone back to figure it out. So, did I get a purple guild level just because that's where I am in the game or is that what everyone got? Definitely a tough one!
Guys any of you finish level 56? is damn hard to pass this level because required alot of techs. I can assumed able to beat this level by purchase bonus techx2 by consumed 10 gems. So anyone?
When I did level 56 I used Sturdy Glyph Helmet (Monster Foresight +10), Sturdy Sprocket Pick (Energy +60%, Gold -50%) and Sturdy Radar Backpack* (Tech Cost -25%). You can also use a +trap reward backpack once you are more familiar with the level layout and the monsters don't catch you by surprise anymore. Keep your volume on ON so you can hear the monsters agro on you. *I had to upgrade the radar backpack. It's worth the gold investment to upgrage radar backpack to 'sturdy' and even 'mighty' later on. I didn't get the Mighty Rock Backpack (Tech Cost -50%) until stage 78, so stick with it.
Gold x3 Pick and Gold-farming floors/techniques First things fist: The Sturdy Diamond Pick (Power 37) is located on level 40, but is only accessible once you have the Gem backpack (Tech 29, Shovel Distance +1). The floors I used to gold-farm were 4, 31, 37, 53, 76 - the rate of gold increasing as you go. Floors 37 and 76 are good for farming items too. Floor 4: Best to use Camping Backpack (Bomb Distance +1) Floor 31: This one takes a little getting used to. Just do a couple practice runs and you will get much faster. Floor 37: You need to have an upgraded 'sturdy' Rune Blade. Don't worry about getting everything on this floor, just proceed in a counter-clockwise route capturing the assigned armadillos and mining gold/looting chests as you go. Floor 53: This is the most simple level of all. Just build bridges and mine. This level takes only about a minute to complete and has 150 gold (300 with Rune Blade, 450 with Diamond Pick). Floor 76: This floor is amazing for farming gold and items. You will get an average of 2,200 gold and it has thee high-level chests. You will need: Mighty Diamond Pick (Power 87, Gold x3) Mighty Glyph Helmet (Energy 33, Monster Foresight +10) - so you can see where the rock monster is without wasting all your energy smashing rocks to find it. Mighty Rock Backpack (Tech 44, Tech Cost -50%) or Mighty Radar Backpack (Tech 44, Tech Cost -25%) The Backpack doesn't matter too much, but if you want to plant lots of bombs to speed up the level, those will help.
I think it's more well executed than well designed. Was super enthused about this game at first but the more I played the less enjoyable it was. Right at L31 I hit the first "pay bump" where I can go no further with my existing gear (which has been smartly upgraded, etc.) without either paying to make it past this level or doing a ridiculous (imo) amount of repetitive grinding to move my gear up a few more levels from where it's been possible with modest grinding and, frankly, the game just isn't that interesting to make a priority. They are selling it as a puzzle game and while, yes, there is a fair amount of logic involved in how to approach the game, unfortunately, the balance of "challenge" is purely a matter of gearing up further either via IAP or copious and boring grinding. It's really just another loot grind game wearing the trappings of a puzzle game yet not being that good at wearing either hat. Since the IAP is poorly done (spending $10 just to fast forward to the next gear wall doesn't make much sense to me) and I've hit a point where I need to invest a great deal to progress, the real "game" is will I wind up deleting it before I gear up enough to get past L31
Hidden Pick on Floor 58: Mighty Wing Blade (Power 80, Chest Gems x3) The Mighty Wing Blade (Power 80, Chest Gems x3) is located on floor 58. The key here is to maximize your tech so you can build a long bridge to the chest. Recommended items: Mighty Iron Blade (Power 74, Tech +40%) - Preferred or Mighty Nuts n' Bolts Blade (Power 71, Tech +60%, Stability -50%) Mighty Ram Helmet (Energy 34, Monster Damage -50%) - Preferred or Mighty Stone Helmet (Energy 31, Monster Damage -25%) Mighty Rock Backpack (Tech 44, Tech Cost -50%) - Preferred or Mighty Winged Backpack (Tech 43, Bridge Length +1) or Mighty Radar Backpack (Tech 44, Tech Cost -25%)
