Can I help? Hi there Ian. I purchased the app and would love to participate in terms of feedback. I sent your company an email earlier regarding the fact I couldn't get it working. Now, I'm not too terribly tech-savvy, but again, I think I could help in terms of testing it and getting it up to speed. Anyways, just my two cents.

Well, it does work, but it's pretty limited. No menus or anything, and it automatically selects the movie to play, which makes it pretty useless for TV shows on DVDs (since they generally come with 4 shows per disc). And there's no options to turn on subtitles, which makes it generally pretty useless for me. If those features could be improved upon and added to the app, you could have a hit on your hands.
Yup, we're working hard on an update with all these features. Truth be told, we never expected Apple to approve such an app. Update's coming : )
I made my first test but it run only the commercials but not the movie itself. I’ll make more tests ASAP.
K44JR7YJPKM9 used. All below that are taken... don't know about above it. Crap... I just realized I don't have a dvd drive for my macbook air. Doh! If a PC version goes beta I wouldn't mind testing it. I have a feeling remote DVD drive feature of macbook air (share a PC DVD drive over the LAN as a macbook air drive) wouldn't work but I will try it anyway.
This sounds awesome, though I was too slow to get a promo code. I didn't even know something like this existed for iPad, any thought of making this a universal app?
Would you be interested in watching your DVDs on the iPhone/ iPod screen, it seems a little too small to be interesting... What do you think? Thanks for the suggestion!

Some Ideas on Use Hi Ian, I was thinking about getting your app for the following uses: 1) I sometimes want to watch a video while doing dishes. I don't have a TV under a kitchen cabinet, but I could find somewhere to safely prop an iPad. This app would come in handy then. 2). I have an elliptical trainer. I don't have space for a wall mounted TV anywhere near there. But there is a small shelf on the elliptical trainer's console that I could place an iPad. So I could use the app to watch DVD's.
