Dayum! Two years ago, I got this free with Xbox Live Gold not knowing what it was. I played it and thought that it should be on mobile, and lookie here. I'm watching it to be sure there aren't launch issues and then I'm adding it straight to my Wishlist.
No worries, runs perfectly on iOS 9. With support for 7 and 8 as well. The one big requirement is that your device have 1GB RAM to run properly, which covers most modern devices.
I have bought it for xbox 360 live arcade and finished it some years ago. Great game! I'm curious about the controls and I'm hoping for pressing virtual buttons instead of gestures, swipe, etc. Looking forward to buy it again.
## great news! My iPad Air is pleased. Will be checking this thread neurotically until we get info on a release date, basically until I can play it.
Fantastic! Coming Today/Tomorrow... indeed this is VERY soon A quick question to the dev. The bloom effect (ripples from sword attacks) is disabled for all iOS devises or was only on video previewers model (because of RAM)? Not big deal just curious.
The refraction effect has been removed, the technical reason is that capturing the screen to a rendertarget every frame doesn't play nicely with the device. It's something I will continue to look into as the code is all there, 60fps was just a priority for me. Actual 'bloom', as in the bloom effect from bright lights, is in. Regarding the video posted, it does show the UI, though it looks pretty big because that's on an iPhone. Button opacity, position, and scale are adjustable. There are also options to enable movement buttons if gestures aren't your thing.
Excellent! It's always a good thing to listen for customization on controls for platformers. Cannot wait for this!!!!!
I own that on PC. A must-buy for all Furry-fans. Or Metrovania-fans. Or friends of sentient swords (great voicing job by Edward Bosco). But I assume this is munching away the battery very quickly?
How hardcore is this game? Love those visuals, but afraid it might be something I start and never finish?
That's exactly what Casual mode is for! Quite simply it's for players who just want to enjoy the story, and you literally cannot fail. For what it's worth my children helped playtest while I was developing, and it was important to me that there be a mode for them to enjoy the game. There are four difficulty settings however, and the later ones are no joke.
Ahh good to know! Thanks for that. I hope I wouldn't need to play on "cannot fail" mode, but good to have it as an option.
Wow didn't expect this game will come out for iOS, and I thought I won't be picking up anything this week. Guess i'm wrong. Instabuy!!!!
