Is it just me or did the difficulty ramp up a whole lot right after the first village? Also, didn't realize drops from enemies disappear so quickly. When I'm battling huge hordes and spending a lot of time up in the air, I end up missing out on a lot of the loot. :/
Yeah this is annoying. I am running this on y iPad but because they are all linked the calls go through the iPad too; pretty annoying. Sometimes the screen would turn blue and other wired things.
I have some problem with in game text being misaligned, also the game is not native full hd (it's quite easy to spot that, as in non native resolution apps the game center banner is huUUge) and blurry on 6 plus, although I'm on 9.1 public beta 4. Anyone else getting these problems?
Have been meaning to post, but too busy playing. This game is fantastic. Once you get the different moves down it gets even better. Love throwing an enemy to the ground when in mid air. Adds some strategy vs just a button masher. Just beat the fort boss and feel like I am just scratching the surface. All the praise is well deserved. If you haven't bought and are still reading, close out and head to the app store now!
I'm on the air 2 and it's definitely not full HD - haven't noticed any misaligned text yet. Still an ace game tho
I'm playing on a 6+ and the visuals are definitely not as crisp as they should be. This takes nothing away from the game play though.
Played this game to death on Steam, so I think I'll skip this. Great game though and nice to see it released on iOS as well.
Glad that i got the first review shown on the app store page ! That guy giving 2 stars is out of his mind though, he says controls are bad, anyone on the fence please dont listen to the guy the controls are as solid as we could hope on a touchscreen
Anyone else getting a lock-up bug when you receive Avgustins quest? It takes me to the quest screen then no touch input will work. When I restart the app it takes me back to the save point just before the giant fight. Very frustrating as I have fought these giants 4 times now just to see my progress lost every time.
Weird. I didn't encounter that at all and I've already left the village. I remember picking up all those quests around the village, and defeating those giants. I guess I'd only suggest doing a hard reset (power/home) and hoping that clears up your phone's memory cache. Before that, though, have you tried rotating your screen 180 degrees and trying to press the back arrow? Sometimes some games have worked in one orientation better than the other for me. I haven't experienced that here, but it's worth a try!
I think he's talking about the recent pulling/lack of firmware conpatibility of premium titles by publishers.
One other game I'd love to see come to iOS is Shadow Complex. I played it on Xbox 360 when it came out and it's my fav Metroidvania next to Metroid itself. It would be perfect on mobile. As for Dust, this game is incredible. I haven't played much yet but I'm already in awe. It's beyond gorgeous and plays great. I really dig that your sword is actually a character! Did someone say only ONE GUY made this?
Yeah, i did further research on this : everything is madr by only one person except the voice acting (done by a few people) and the music (done by a professionnal). Gameplat, graphics, story, writing, etc, all one and only one person.
