Please let us change the language ingame. The German translation is very bad, sometimes I don't even understand what they are saying.
Right, as part of my "clear backlog" project of 2017, I'm taking on Dust: AET properly now. Sweet Christmas, it's incredible. I thought the buttons would overwhelm me, but the touch interface is superb. And few games look and sound as good as this. Wow. I know I'm late to the party, but wow. Would love to see more of what Dean Dodrill is working on now. His Twitter feed is just a tease!
I'm playing on the iPhone, and it's absolutely fine. It has iCloud backup though, so you can easily switch from phone to tablet. If you're not focusing on anything else in particular at the moment, I highly recommend digging in. Quite enjoying going through my backlog. Adventures of Pip was absolutely terrific, Waking Mars was fun, Broken Age was a blast, and I'm currently also enjoying KotOR and Warbits - but Dust is the best thing on iOS that I've played this year. I know you're a massive fan of Death Road to Canada, but for me, while I think they're both excellent games, Dust is just more to my taste.
Thanks! You are one that I have a great deal of respect for the opinion, so I am going to give it a try. I need to stop and play some games from my backlog, including Waking Mars and Broken Age. Just finished Yesterday and it was a fun ride, albeit a short one.
Thanks yourself! We definitely share tastes, it seems. Yesterday looks cool - that one had definitely passed me by.
Jeez, I'm actually jealous of you guys. I wish I could go back and play this again for the first time. One of the best games ever made.
Updated for iPhone X compatibility and “increased visual fidelity” on devices iPhone 6 and above. Yeah!
Unfortunately in ipad (pro) it is still blurry Any fix in the future maybe? In ipad it's like is very zoomed in.
I just finished this game a couple of days ago, and I am a little shocked that there isn't a sequel, considering how old it is, and how amazing it is. Honestly, this is one of the best platformers I've ever played, if not the best. Everything about this game is jaw droppingly great. This is for sure going to be a contender for game of the year for me.
I just completed it on a 13 inch iPad Pro, and I didn't notice it looking zoomed in, but of course I don't have another tablet or phone to check on, but I also own it for the pc, and from memory it looked the same, though it has been years since I played it on the pc, and never completed it there. Regardless though, I didn't have any troubles what so ever, and the viewing distance was fine, imho.
