I'm the same guy that did Endless Depths and Endless Nights, so if you've played any of those games, you know a little what to expect. This game is party-based and has some big differences from those other games. One thing to be aware of is the permadeath in the game. If your character dies, it is permanent, but you have the opportunity to bandage the character. One thing I liked about this feature in testing is that I actually ran away and escaped the dungeon at times if things went sour. I've tried to explain most abilities and items in the game well enough so that you can understand the mechanics. You can also use the identify button to check out monsters in the dungeon. There's a 20-sided dice at the bottom of the screen that will show your attack roll, any to-hit bonuses and what you need to roll for a hit. The game is balanced to be easier than a standard roguelike for the most part. The first levels shouldn't be too difficult, but once you hit around lvl 3 it should get a bit more difficult. The Event meter is reset when you explore an area that has monsters and reset a little if you explore and there were no monsters. Part of playing through is balancing how quickly you explore.
