First off it’s beautiful. I love pixel graphics done right and that’s exactly what this is. So nice to look at. Loving the gameplay so far. A bit confused as to what’s going on so far but it’s half the fun lol. One thing is I’m not sure I do love the controls. They seem to stop a lot when I’m waking. Wish there was a floating joystick option. And even though you don’t need it yet I always miss a jump button when there isn’t one lol. All being said I have only played about 30 mins. I’m around the same spot @Anotherkellydown was. I can see this getting very good. I’m not sure if the hit box is really small or what it is, but maybe @AngryBugs can look into it? Also, there’s an option to change the control layout, which I did, and prefer it that way. It gives you left/right movement arrows in the bottom left, attack on the bottom right, and dash and shield to the left and above attack respectively. I can’t seem to ever get back out. Also I have upgraded to tier 3 and done some upgrades in the tiers. I have been mining and going into doors. But I have nothing else to do. No quests are active and none are coming up. Am I missing something ? Have I just not mined enough ? I’m just not sure where to go from here. Also on Apple the notch at the top is getting in the way of gold and health bars. @Anotherkellydown ya you pushed me over the edge on this one lol. But I was pretty much there lol. Also I am using that method. It works much better. I think issue with other one is the right and left don’t go low enough because the other buttons are there. So it’s higher up on the screen. That or it really isn’t registering holding down all the time. note: when mining if you swipe up you can actually make platforms and go up !! But it will show improvements while you keep upgrading the Castle Tier (I recommend upgrading the pickaxe at the blacksmith); all the quest progress is tied to the Tier, so if you keep upgrading it, you will get access to new ones (the first companion, the tavern, etc). You can customize the position of the controls if you feel they are a bit displaced. The tasks must be bugged because at a random point i lost all of them (not showing anything to do) and again on random point, reappeared but with some of them being greyed (done) and some of them that i have already done was still there active... As you doing excavations and dying and return to town (the usual "circle" like in some roguelikes), new NPCs will appear to talk with them, new missions will come and some places will open to visit (stores, etc.)... so yeah is "redo" the same stuff again and again in order to progress and upgrade stuff... More stuff unlocks as you progressing... The notch stuff is also a trouble in my Xs but i hope the devs will fix it soon because i am seeing my health only when low at the very left end of my screen and not an idea for the gold of a run... At the end... the game till now (1,5 hour in) is addictive (hope not to get toooooo repetitive in the future), is well executed... but there are bugs to fix and maybe some improvements to happen... Totally worth the asking price and love that is on portrait... For now, is my addiction of this week's releases... Alright, the mines are a one way ticket, hehe. Unfortunately that sounds like a game breaker for me. I really need a good save system on my mobile games.
