Some of the mechanics and sounds feel the same. I think Dungeon Raid lovers are going to be very happy. Seems like some spelling errors. App name is in Chinese under the Icon. And it doesn’t seem to be full screen on iPhone 15 pro max. Just missing small bottom area. But bother me as it keeps me from hitting that stupid bar. I don’t actually know if better. I mean Dungeon Raid is a classic. One of the best of all time. But this really hits all the notes. And it’s 10 years later so looks a bit better. Looks like there is even more to unlock and try out. It really seems like it’s all here and what people have been looking for. I still have to play more. Not being fullscreen is something which would put me a little off tbh as it makes no sense to go with a screen ratio from a decade ago. At least that’s the impression I get from the screenshots provided. I‘ll probably buy it I guess, I am too weak to not pull the trigger on a good Dungeon Raid successor… Edit: bought it. I think it‘s the closest to Dungeon Raid I‘ve played so far including Dungeon Falan and Troll Patrol. I would even go as far as saying that it’s basically exactly the same as DR but with a different UI and art. Sounds are different but still very close to the original. Playing it gives me the same vibes as DR did back in the days. DR wasn’t clear on how to unlock things iirc and this one isn’t different in this regard. It would be nice if the dev would add a background instead black bars on top and bottom just for the sake of it and some clicky sounds for button presses as well as a proper translation for the homescreen icon for polish but besides that I couldn’t be happier to finally have kinda DR 2 on my phone. Assassin seems to be from a high damage turn. Trouble is, it’s all incredibly same-y to me. No substantial changes to gameplay with the new classes. Ok, quick first impression….. buy it. Sooo much going on here. It’s Dungeon Raid 2.0. Read the tutorial and played one game.
