I wouldn't be so quick to judge it as harmless. Later in the game Specials come very close to each other, and that extra turn can make all the difference between having 2 Specials instead of 3 at the same time, or 3 instead of 4, etc. Early in the game it's almost harmless, but later on that quicker spawn is much more deadly.
OK, so when I get better I should switch it out I think my highest turn count is 800-something. (In my defense, I don't have any classes up to level 10 yet.)
You should be as competent as me then, my max turns was 850 until I did the Treasure-Treasure Chamber-Double coins combo I described last page or the previous one, then it became 950. I am trying to do the combo again, but you gotta be lucky to be offered all 3 upgrades before it's too late xD By turn 800 the earlier spawn is already pretty harmful. There are less dangerous flaws you can grab instead (-1 armor or -10 health for instance, they are quite bad early on but if you managed to survive they become much less significant in later turns).
Purchased this back at the end of last year, must install it on the ipod touch to play. Don;t think I could play another match 3 game having just finished Cash Cow.
Err, the way it's written in the game is I believe "Special enemies appear 1 turn earlier" or something very close to that, which is pretty straightforward. So if normally, at a given point in time during your game, a Special skull spawns each 15 turns, it will spawn each 14 turns instead with the flaw.
It's not straightforward, it could be interpreted in lots of different ways. What I actually thought it meant was that if the first special skull would normally appear on turn 43, it can appear on turn 42 instead, but everything else is unchanged. How do you know that your interpretation is correct?
I noticed there's no background musics in the lite version, does the paid version has background musics?
Semi-random. Killing special monsters in all modes except easy gives the chance of dropping a trophy which unlocks them.
99 cent sale this weekend. If you've been waiting to buy, now's your chance. I played through some other games, and came back to this over the weekend, and I'm hooked again. Video game crack...
Finally pulled the trigger on this one this weekend. What a fantastic game, quite addicted right now. Is there Game Centre integration incoming?
There already is... at least for achievements etc. If you're asking about multiplayer, then there is no form of that in the game currently. It'd take a very different gaming mode to pull that one off i think!
lets give you some ideas about update 1st a must: ipad support 2nd vimp: A campaign mood: the problem in the game it is all endless and there is no campaign thats what give the feeling something is lacking...here are simple ideas to which is very easy to implement first u choose a fighter and then start a random map as usual but it should have a name..for example act 1 entering to the dungeon and it ends after u kill a certain amount of skulls then for example act 2 the ice cave where u have a random maps..but all the skulls you are fighting is the skull which freezes tiles and maybe very little or no normal skulls but they are all of small health in order to overcome the many number of special monsters and then a boss comes with very big health which freezes tile every now and then! act 3 the fire cave where u have a random maps..but all the skulls you are fighting is the skull which burns tiles with maybe very little or no normal skulls but they are all of small health and a boss comes with very big health which burns tiles every now and then!! act 4 Gold cave the main idea as before but the main skulls is lich and the skull which steals gold act 5 the sliding tunnel as before but all the skulls are the skulls which shifts position and so on different acts with a simple story linking them 3rd idea: a new character or skill...which is a summoner..when u activate the summon skill you change a random tile to skull with a certain amount of health..this skull takes damage instead of your health points till it is killed
Speaking for myself, I think the pixel doubled version looks fine on the iPad, and I honestly couldn't care less about a campaign mode. You have some very creative ideas here for a story, but I really don't think the game needs it. I already don't read the little stories that come up before the game, and I certainly don't want more game time wasted in a pseudo-campaign. Other may feel differently, but I think that basic game is already perfect the way it is. I certainly wouldn't mind more spells, skills and monster types, just for the variety, but I really don't think it needs anything else. Cute idea, I like it.
