Yep, certainly considering it, will port to PC as soon as we're done with the new art, and hopefully fingers crossed get picked up by Steam or another direct download service. Ideally keeping the $3 price if possible, otherwise $5 seems not too unfair (ouch, $15? that's pretty rich) I sure am. I can definitely see how a real-time mode would work and it makes sense in my head, just a matter of getting the time to implement it. Should try to get it into the next modes update Hah the almost universally-loathed Slash is finally getting the recognition it deserves The unlocks sync across devices using achievements, so you should get back your unlocked classes even after you delete the game (as long as you log into the same account you used to get those classes) Well, Masochism is meant to be a risky move, occasionally that screen full of skulls might just kill you before you kill it
Why is it called match-3, when you're basically matching much bigger numbers. Also, is there actually an end on easy level? It appears stats continue on up forever, skills cap at 10, items- I got to 'final' helm, then upgrades that followed ultimate, godly, then sublime.. I really ought to play this the proper way
"Also, is there actually an end on easy level? It appears stats continue on up forever, skills cap at 10, items- I got to 'final' helm, then upgrades that followed ultimate, godly, then sublime.." That would be hilarious if in easy mode after turn 5000 or something ridiculous the screen said "congrats you found a door labelled exit and emerge into the open where you discover that you have just spent hours inside magic mountain at disney. You see the entrance to the real dungeon ahead, now go play normal or higher and stop harassing the employees in costumes".
Hahahaha. That would be hilarious! Also I love slash! It has such a quick cool down and helps me constantly collect more tiles, shields, and health. One of my favs to pick up when I'm not doing the boost armor combo ( which I've been doing less and less lately...as I'm just having fun with builds now. Currently messing around with the halfling masochism combo). Hack is the one I'm dissapointed with. Very long cool down for something not too great except when paired with slash.
It should be fairly simple. I've seen another match 3 game do an online multiplayer that doesn't stray away from the main idea. Basically, it's the concept of Dungeon Raid's main game, but when you attack the skulls, you damage your opponent instead. Whoever drops down to zero hit points first, loses. I'm sure the developer's could work around that idea to make it actually work. Now a lot of score based games have a survival and campaign mode. I feel Dungeon Raid's main game is more of a survival mode (playing until you die then starting over). I think it would be cool to have a campaign mode where you don't lose the levels or upgrades you earn even after you die. Again, I'd count on the developers making that idea actually work and knowing how to still make it challenging. I'm comparing this game more to the Puzzle Quest 2 game modes. I just like Dungeon Raid's concept better, so I think it would be a cool addition to the game if they could make the game modes that PQ2 has.
Hey I'm really addicted to the lite version and im curious - what does the full version actually add, except from taking away the ads? I'm probably gonna get it anyway - it's just that there doesn't seem to be anything possible to add to the lite version
Thanks to yourself for teaching me about it. My previous record was 850 turns which I tried to surpass a few times with no avail. Then the very first time I used the slash and coins combo I got to 950 turns before death No, it just keeps recycling the same names over and over. That would be awesome indeed. Look a few pages back, someone asked the same question.
I guess I could see a multiplayer mode happening, but here's my idea of what could happen. Both players start at the beginning, and they have to fulfill a random requirement to win, like "Get 100 health" or "Reach turn 75" or "Get [insert skill] to level 3". It could either be in real time or turn-based (I'd think that real-time would be more fun, like in Doodle Jump or Fruit Ninja or something). What do you guys think of the idea?
Real time seems like a solid idea. I also don't know how, but a garbage tile would fit perfectly. One player will send these over to the other player. These tiles act as normal ones but don't have any effect (less oppurtunities on the board). This mode also will rely on the player's fast instinct rather than a strategic approach.
That "sending garbage tiles over" reminds me of Tetris Attack for the SNES. Such fond memories of that game <3
Great game. I'm just hoping that the developer makes this game a Universal app in his nxt update. This would really put the icing on the cake
Been playing this game for a while but I'm still confused with stats. Which one is better between the STR and DEF ones and why? Here are my stats now.
But getting the +STR one will give me 1 STR and 1 Base dmg from what I can see. So I think that gives me 1 STR for Sword dmg and 1 more for Base dmg. Is this right?
Your 56 strength currently is contributing +56 to base damage. You have another 72 points of base damage from other sources, for a total of 128 base damage. If you take the Strength upgrade, it will increase your strength bonus to +57 and so your base damage will be 129. The Defence upgrade will increase your armor repair from 53 to 55 for each shield you collect. Since your total armor is 52, this doesn't currently help you at all (one shield will completely repair your armor).
Ok, I get the STR part but not the DEF part. So should skip all the defense upgrades for now or grab the +DEX one? Looks up 5 posts earlier. Guess I'm nerdier.
