True, but it pops up for me when I try to return from the Help menu to play a Challenge game. I think what is happening is that the "More Games!" button is somehow becoming active on the Challenge Help screen even though it's invisible. I didn't realize that the More Games button launched the playhaven thing. I was thinking it was just an ad pop up because I wasn't asking to see it, it is launching when I try to start a game. Since the More Games from the main menu roughly overlaps the Begin button maybe the help menu is somehow swapping out the button overlay?

THERE IS A Stupid PLAY HEAVEN AD...how can i go past it ??? should i pay or what??? i want this stupid ad to be removed by whatever mean ... how can i remove it or where shall i pay to not ever see this ad AGAIN??
I cannot seem to play at all any more. I got stuck on that play haven ad, and now no game mode is working for me.
That went away for me after a full reboot as well (unbroken iP4 with latest OS if that makes a difference). It's definitely a nasty bug, I'm sure it wasn't intentional. With Fireflame's resistance to add IAP, I'm sure a full page popup that prevents you from playing the game at all isn't an intended feature.
Grr, while I love the concept of Pretzel Hero, I for the life of me can't visualize ways to make consistent loops. I'm lucky if I make 3 or more in a solid wall of like icons, God forbid a group that snakes around a bit! Oh, has anybody determined if you can still get trophies (hero level-ups) in these Challenges or will I still need to stick to the standard game for that stuff?
Yes kind of buggy right now. Often get to the Playhaven site. And just minutes ago, I started a sprint challenge and realized way too late (after way more than 100 turns) that I was playing an easy game in normal mode.
I get my larger size pretzel matches from, if you can get a long double row of like icons, doing a sawtooth up-down angle going one way, then overlapping the whole thing on the way back /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ \ then \/\/\/\/\/\/l /\/\/\/\/\/\l Hopefully that's clear! I think this might the best way to squeeze lots of overlaps in.
On a recommendation I picked this game up and was sucked in almost instantly... what a unique and interesting concept Probably played this game more then I have any other iPhone game in quite a while!
Ooh Pretzel mode. Am 2nd at the moment, having stopped waiting for the 'perfect' skill for my build to appear. Time to have another go.
Ok. Have set a high score. But tell me this. Spikes appear to ignore armour -- what do I do with a spiky monster if my base damage is over 110? It feels like a bit of a hard limit to this mode which makes it a bit duller than it ought to be.
I had a spikey on my screen for well over 100 turns in pretzel mode. The blunting brought his attack to 1 but his health never moved down even though I had at least 14 spike damage. I got lucky and a teleport scroll was attached to a weapon upgrade. Can this be fixed please?
Might have found a small bug this morning. I poisoned a Liche and it died the following turn to poison damage. I got all the gold and exp for killing it and it's phylactery token didn't pop up. Thankfully it stayed dead! So I guess if you kill it with poison it is down for the count for good.
hahaha. sorry for raining on your parade then! Personally I like the liche since it requires some additional planning to take it down but i can see how it can be difficult if the board isn't set up nicely.
Do you get exp and gold from killing a Liche or only after you destroy its phylactery? What about the Changling's race ability to restore a skill....does that trigger when you kill the Liche or only when you destroy the phylactery? The reason I ask this is since if these things trigger when you kill the Liche, you could allow it to just respawn and re-kill it over and over.
I'm pretty sure it is only once his golden phylactery (whatever the blank that is) and I also can confirm even the lowest level of poison with instantly/automatically kill the phylactery the second it appears.
While I still suck hard at Pretzel Hero, the two row (horizontal or vertical) sawtooth trick is a winner! If any non-similar piece breaks up the dual line I fall apart, but if I can at least get a good solid double rail going for any stretch I can now work 2-3, if not more, criss-crosses out of it.
