The strength of the enemies increases exponentially with time (I think), while your own power only increases linearly, so, no matter how well you play, the former will always overwhelm the latter eventually, and infinite play is impossible. I don't agree with the desire to always have the best upgrade options available, either.
lol.. here comes 2 problems...he has a big health as i said about 250 which is bigger than me..the poison means i have to wait for 3 turns...first the posion damage is not that big or frequent ..second he has big attack so i cant wait for a high damage for some turns till the poison affects him especially if he comes with a few monsters with high damage and in addition i have big base damage and sword damage to just touch him. ( that in addition to small posion damage) so i get a base damage + 2 sword damage which is both big + spike damage for waiting+ other skulls damage if beside him and i dont want to damage him so i dont reach them..Total Carp...
i recommend to have a sword upgrade always present in the shop..not to overwhelm you with defense upgrade..leave me the sword upgrades and i grantee i will reach the immortality..lol
Unlikely since I can prove mathematically that it is impossible. In any case, if it were true that giving more frequent sword upgrades made it possible to play forever, that would be a further reason not to do it.
poison also there is spike damage. There may be other methods. Whenever I encountered Spike Monster, his damage attack was low and was thus never really a threat to not have to eliminate right away to let indirect methods get to him. Granted, I am not hitting 2000 turns or on top of the leaderboard, I'm just responding to the concept that Spikey is so overpowered that he needs to be eliminated from the game. I think you just have to handle him differently.
why do you say it is impossible?? if you play it alot ..you will know what everytime kills you.. then u make a list.. it is spike monster and sword upgrades if monster gets so powerful ..i get soo powerful i have upgraded to 100% bonus in potion,xp,..ect and i have a 100% for every 10 tiles due to character i used masho after there is alot of gold turns to skulls,,kills them ,,get instant upgrade in skills or even a couple upgrade if the page is all skulls and that is accompanied by increase defence power because i have more than 15 skulls then i use treaure chamber right after masho..so after all page full of skulls is cleared they got replaced by a page full of gold..which i then have an upgrade or twice upgrade for item that in addtion to teleport and damage boost skills if anything happens bad or some freakn strong monster in a bad situation how can i possibly lose...i will be immortal..mwaa mwahahahaha
if u play on hardest mode..just watch when you reach about level 50..and see his biiiiiig health and relativley big attack..with lack of health potions..you are doomed ..there is only one and only one escape from that monster..if u have teleport and full charged
I explained it already. Do you know what exponential growth is? Let's say after 1000 turns the enemies have strength 100 and have 1000 HP, but you can still kill them in a shot and brush them aside, no problem. Then, after 2000 turns, you'll be about twice as strong as you were after 1000 turns, but the enemies will have attack 10000 and have 1000000 HP, you will die almost instantly.
If you check back a few pages he checked in and said some real life stuff came up that is taking up his time. He will come back once he sorts it all out but it sounds like it might be a bit. The best way to take out a spikey is to ignore it (in my opinion) and focus on everyone else. If he can single handily kill you then you are already in trouble and likely wouldn't survive long anyway. I let him do his thing and have my blunting knock him down. Once he has one attack who cares? In general spikeys usually don't have much higher attack than regular skulls so you should be okay letting him be. People just get hung up on killing him and end up killing themselves... I agree trying to kill him is suicidal late game and I only peck away at him (often with poison etc as mentioned by others) when I'm doing small attack chains or the board is fairly clear. He does not need to be nerfed. A spikey hasn't killed me in a LONG time or even been a large contributing factor to a death... In fact I get killed by the stupid gorilla more than anything (the one who throws other skulls at you) Shop is random and fine as is. You can have bad luck and only get defense upgrades but it is in no way skewed that way. Guaranteeing a sword upgrade at all times takes away from the randomness and skill aspect of the game and hurts other builds (even though I agree most competitive builds care ALOT more about offense than defense. I do think the shop should get some unique upgrades though to make it more relevant (i.e. you can ONLY get certain upgrades in the shop). It'd make for even more strategy.
Archievements Guys, I've got all the archievements on the game except for two. Can someone help me? - Just messing with you (match 10+ tiles just to have them all replaced by skulls). Is this one completely random, or there is a trick for getting it? I've played this game so many hours that if it is really random, one might never get it... - Killed a hidden shield mimic - Is this one impossible to get after the update? If yes, this is a bit frustrating... I also have a sugestion of game mode for fireflame. It would be very nice to have a game mode where you have 6 or even 8 slots for spells. I know this would allow some huge/overpowered combos, but since the stenght of the skulls grous exponentially, they will eventually catch up, no matter what, right?
Just messing with you: I think it is pure luck and also very unlucky (or I gues lucky if you want the achievement). I don't think there is anyway to rig this one and I myself haven't come close to it before The hidden shield mimic is indeed impossible at the moment. I'm sure fireflame can address it when he gets back but for now I'd just consider yourself 1 shy of all achievements.
I hope we will still get that improved graphics update fireflame was talking about. Also some new game modes like a real time mode
Lite vs Full version. Sorry, if this question was already asked, but I couldn't find it and this is reaaaly long threat But what are all differences between Lite and Full version? I like the lite version quite a bit, but still not enough to pay 2,39Eur for it ..but maybe there is some new features in full version which convince to buy it anyways.
Back when fireflame introduced the lite version he said that it would always be a little behind the full game. So at the time it didn't have any classes or races in it. It also wouldn't have the 2 alternate game modes he has since made. Seeing as I've always had the full version I don't know if that has changed or not since then but that's the best answer I got for you. Hope it helps! p.s. I definitely think it's worth the money for the full version and to support fireflame for making this great game. It's like the price of one cup of coffee...
Hrmmm the post I quoted and responded to disappeared so this post makes no sense anymore... sorry for the double post I guess...
