If you do enchant>add element you have a 25% chance of getting the one you want. If you just go for whatever they won't resist (What I do) then its a 75% chance. If you upload to the servers before hand, then you can re download until you get the one you want. So basically, yes you can choose. The alternative is keeping 2-3 items on you at all times.
Yeah, I was hoping I was just being stupid, LOL. Good to know about the server thing, though. It has been a long time since I have played an iOS game this much. I need to find out what all the affixes actually do...... some you can tell by the names, but there are many I can't tell. I have been to the ShinyBox forums, but just haven't found them to have enough updated info. I even found a few blogs and have learned some stuff from those. Last game I liked this much was probably when the 2nd Kingdom Rush came out. One thing does have me perplexed at times...... Sometimes it s really hard to figure which is the better choice of gear or weapon..... but I guess, really, that adds to the game. So, as I am old and slow, I am only playing the 4th level of difficulty, but I hope to switch to 5 or 6 tonight........ harder levels mean better gear?
If you need help figuring out affixes, post your question here and I'll help you out. Same with gear choices. Some are not as obvious as others, for example just because a piece has a higher dps than the one I currently have equipped does not mean I should equip it if it eliminates the benefits I'm getting from other stats such as mp/hp leech. Also sets are based on the weapons you decide to run with, for example I could be playing with a gauntlet, and a wand shows that it has a way higher dps rating, but if my entire gear set is built around the functions of the gauntlet it wouldn't make sense to switch to a wand.
I'll answer for you, since the devs answered five times. To quote them, "rogue coming soon! Who knows what's in store for the future, we will see!" So please, don't ask again. We got monk?
Just be careful. I just switched down from power 8 to 7, and the halved health of enemies is making a massive difference in my clearance times, and only slightly affecting drops. At low levels the item quality really doesn't matter, as long as it gets you through. At high levels is when I think its optimal to really bump up in search of better gear. As far as evaluating items goes, I just skim. I'll instantly cash in anything thats magic, or not of my class. Then I'll skim the remaining rare drops and epics for the key stats I want, if they look somewhat promising I'll take about 10 seconds and just go with my gut on which is better. Basically, I figure, if I can't easily see one is more powerful, there's probably not a significant difference. To the (awesome) devs: Any chance of Game Center integration soon? You basically have a leaderboard and achievement system built in to the game. Can we please get a "Only show damage numbers on Special (anything higher tier than the average fodder) enemies" option? And a crit only equivalent? Expandable map so we can see everything and tell where we haven't been?
You can buy the consumable map revealer for 1,000 gold. Which is like the coast of 4 potions. Extremely cheap and totally worth it.
We're actually using the next update to put in Game Center Leaderboards The update after that will hopefully have achievements as well, with the revamp of the Challenge System. Interesting, yeah I can see about doing this. Yeah our maps can be a bit limiting when you start getting to the larger sized maps ( they jump up size after floor 20, and get even bigger past floor 100 ). We'll see what we can do with this.
orb, twister and torrent proc build probability is not that low if you stack all the weapon effects. example: ragnarok - 10.4% orb proc, 8% throw sword proc , with higher attack speed to further the chance of the procs dreamwalker - 8.1 torrent proc, 8.8 twister proc will of force - 11.6% orb proc total - 22 % orb proc, 8% sword proc, 8.1% torrent proc, 8.8% twister proc my main hand weapon is a sword type so attacks relatively fast. imagine all the things i do in the game has probability of casting orb, sword torrent and twister. even casting mana shield and time warp is able to trigger the procs. meanwhile for those who are into warrior is able to exploit this build as well. My warrior (not finalized): obsidian blade furor earthen plate revenge oaken band will of force this build has very low dps so i choose to be a blood knight. proc analysis: Assault 31: 124% of launching hatchets on attack ( basically 100 percent is enough, i am trying to see of ways to lower the assault and boost other talents like MIGHT talent). So imagine, every single attack or skill i make is able to cast hachet to damage enemy and more importantly, make them bleed will of force: 11.1 orb proc, frenzy(speed is needed to spam those hatchets and procs) and living force is able to pull back every hatchets thrown out. oaken band: for assault talent to happen earthen plate : this build has relatively low defence so I need the armor to be as tough as possible, earthen plate seems to be a good choice. plus terrashaper perk on it is able have 12.5 % of casting earth shatter for every hit i make or take. I can basically stand there and it casts earth shatter if an enemy hits me furor: to activate all the necessary berserker talents so my other equipments affix like +4 berserker talent can be put to good use obsidian blade: for better dps and blade has good speed to activate all the spell procs. for those who have both warrior and wiz and likes to use the hire feature of the game. I will suggest you to use your wiz and take control of the warrior. because the AI system is weak at maintaining mana shield. If you use my build for both warrior and wiz, You will be able to clear power 8 dungeons at a speed you wont believe it. but the screen will be filled with orbs, torrents, hachets, swords, earth shatters and twisters . So much of them that you will not be able to see your enemy. You will even lose track of your damage. Last note: this build is relatively weak against explosives, so please do keep a look out them. for my warrior : 160 power, 144 health for my wizard: 160 power, 144 mana
since tome weapon skills don't replace spirits that have lowest health like in Path of Exile, I've given up on the summoner build and shifted to focus on using ice storm with tome spirits as meat shields instead, building around Livid's Wicked Wand, and is working amazingly well so far with EP set to lvl 8, I can just freeze and watch everything die by casting ice storm and occasionally dodging some projectiles. Now I just need to get my DPS up to make things die faster xD currently doing 28.8k dps at level 33 however boss fights can be painfully grindy, because bosses can't be ice blocked in place and tend to ignore my spirit meat shields Suggestions: 1. more combat visual and sound effects 2. richer terrains rather than just flat ground on every level 3. more monster variety that uses interesting skills 4. make the elemental resistances more prominent, currently they feel rather useless 5. end game map system 6. Aura skills that reserve health/mana 7. skill gems 8. A class universal talent tree rather than item based talents Alright.. that's almost like an iOS Path of Exile xD but anyway, you guys should really look into that game, it has some great concepts
Disabled stash Hi. I cant seem to access my stash. I see my items grayed out and asking me to purchase one. Has anyone encountered this problem? I tried to quit the app and restarted it. Same result. Is there a solution to this? Thanks.
What exactly does this do? I don't WANT to see the whole map when I start out because then it's harder to determine/remember where I haven't already been. Definitely agree that it's a bit of a pain to have to walk back across the dungeon just to be able to see the rest of the map, to ensure I've covered everything. But I also like that the overlay isn't obtrusive...so, tough call!
If anyone hasn't gone into the options to set the map to offset (instead of smack in the middle of your screen), HIGHLY recommended if you like to leave it always on like me.
I also think the map revealer is a bit of a waste for the same reason. If its completely revealed I will lose my place too easily. That is of course if you're only looking to advance through green portals then I guess it would make sense.
This talk about the map is something I've been meaning to mention for a while but haven't had a chance to yet. I thought maybe it was just me but apparently other people have similar problems. My problem could probably be solved with an option to scale the map out to full size. I don't think it should show the whole map, just the areas you've already been to. Basically exactly the way it already is but full size. The thing I'm having trouble with, and it's much more pronounced in the later floors, is after I go through half of the floor and find the portal I'm always unsure whether I hit certain areas or not. I end up back tracking to areas I've already been. It's super annoying. Another thing I thought would be nice is a warp option that initiates after you find the end portal. Once you find the portal you can warp back to it at anytime. Or something similar to that. I find it very annoying when I find the portal and I still have to go clear to the other side of the map and then make my way ALL the way back again. This is especially annoying when I find out that I've already cleared the other side of the map when I get over there.
Looking into this issue for you now. I should be able to get you new save data in about 30 minutes that will resolve this issue. **UPDATE** You should be good to go now. Just download your data and the stash should show up properly.
