I must have missed this Dev in the past as I have never played his games before. But after watching the video I rushed over to make the purchase. I'll leave some impressions after I play a bit.
From what I've seen from the above video it looks like a great game! I was intrigued when it was mentioned that the developer was a one man team. And he did a great job on those graphics! Can't wait to get ahold of this game. And a question for the developer, will you be making anymore games soon?
This is my review in the app store"................. BOTH THESE GAMES ARE EERIE, DARK, AND MALEVOLENT. THIS IS STUFF NIGHTMARES ARE MADE OF.............PURCHASED AND TERRIFIED!!!!! These games are the genuine article, advised to play at night in bed with headphones for maximum effect.
Do you mean the textures? the game will use full res textures automatically if the device has more than 1gb ram I might be able to make it work on phones with just 1gb but would prefer to make it an option... didn't want the device to keep crashing when played for long periods of time.
so is there a story and an ending or is it just a highscore permadeath game is it the same as the PC version with graphical differences or is it totally a different breed of game?
Aww man i really need this to become universal as i dont have phone! Just the air 2, so natraully the control scheme is difficult, also noticed there are no options? Pls be ipad compatible soon as im dying to play this properley, as it looks like a killer game!
hell, i'll try this and download the first one 2 days ago and it's quite terrifying, i don;t have the guts to play it with my headphones LOL
Good game, even better and scarier than the 1st one. But I wish it was the same as the PC version. I didn't play it on PC but I saw the movies online uploaded by different players.
To be honest, I never considered bringing it to mobile and originally made the game for PC/Mac only. It was only after the release of the game I had spare time and wanted to challenge myself. I actually had it running on my 6s but due to the requirement of supporting the iPhone 5 I had to make cuts sadly and the main areas to cut were the Hotel moments. I still believe though that the port still feels like Dungeon Nightmares
