Got onto Dungeon Maker not too long ago, currently grinding through Trial 5. Overall Floria and Tania are arguably the strongest Dungeon Lords for basic levels, so I'm wondering if it is better to pick the dungeon lord based on the number of relics, the traps and battle rooms or the unlocked monsters that are compatible to the certain dungeon lord overall. This obviously won't be a problem to deal with later into the game when many of the abilities and relics are all unlocked but could be useful for early game strategies. Thanks! I'm also fine with anything along the lines of they don't really matter as well just wanted to double check
In the Dungeon Maker current version, Maybe the strongest Dark Lord is Elizabeth who is provided by default. However, there is no definite thing about what happens in the balance patch. So, Seize the day & Carpe diem! XD
I've heard Tania is great because of her second skill. Why is Elizabeth so good? Sorry if it's a dumb question. Just started this game a few days ago
Elizabeths first skill is insane, and the dmg output of the first skill increases over the entire duration of the fight, as long as nothing gets into the room of elizabeth that is
Hi, got couple of queries below from a noob playing Tania and trying to optimize setup. Hoping other players can help. 1) Forestallment skill stated the buff applied when you attacked the first enemy you encountered in this battle. Does this mean, other enemies that the monster fought during the same battle will not get the buff? Or the first attack to all enemies will always get buff? 2) which one is better, gunpowder vs dynamite? The dynamite is more powerful, but it is more difficult to trigger, I.e. you have to kill the enemy. On the other hand, gunpowder will trigger whenever you attack the enemy, although the damage will be applied to nearby enemies in the room, not the adjacent rooms. So three gunpowder should be better than one dynamite, am I right?
I’ve been enjoying the first 50 days of this run, but am rather relying on a “clear all altars” relic in the pretty near future!
Not completely sure about the forestallment skill, but from my recent games I don't see the forestallment skill activating more than once per game, so probably only the first. (Which is suspect to questioning cuz that would be a pretty bad S rank. More like an A rank skill.)
I think I'm done pretending this game isn't designed to squeeze money from people for IAPs. Four runs at maximum difficulty with zero rewards to show for it. That's absolute garbage for the difficulty involved and can only be explained by those goddamn IAPs. Will be steering people away from this in the future.
Did you die from floor 20 or something? Maximum difficulty means jack if you just run and die too early. I think you better just recheck your strat if that's the case. This game isn't squeezing your money if you get better at it. This is mine and I quit at day 500 at trial 8 to start with Elizabeth. At my rebirth level I'm sure you know I ain't able to roll that many things.
You either die too early, or you are at level idk 400 what i doubt, or you just don´t realize that the maximum difficulty is trail 10 and not hard 10? Eitherway, you easily get multiple level ups per run, the only issue is that it takes rather long to complete a run, and just saying but if you die before day 500 i don´t even consider it as a normal run, day 100 is only for climbing to higher difficulties and not a run, i often need to play multiple days for 1 run, although i don´t play long, like 1 hour or so per day, anyway a normal run on trial 5 difficulty grants depending on play style (a run where you leave at day 500) a few million, if you play really greedy you can probably gain more than day 500 runs of higher difficulties, if you would have said that it takes too long to do 1 run i would agree, but not getting any rewards from runs? You must either a) play on lower difficulty and not the highest difficulty (like hard 10 instead of trial 10 maybe?) b) you die too early (maybe you consider day 100 a run? although a real run starts at day 500) c) you are so high level that even 40 to 100 mil are not enough to level you up, what i HIGHLY doubt
For everyone who find this game too hard, you only need Blood Shield facility and you need to put Shield Bash (C) skill on your Dark Lord. This tactic will get you a long way until it stops working (as you can see in my previous post, there is a bug), but while it works, you can't die. You can use this tactic to level any DL and see what works for you, depending on the stuff that you have unlocked. When you get all the achievements (which is very easy with the above tactic), you will have all the important stuff unlocked, so go for them.
Four runs at trial 1 (my current hardest) ending at level 80 should not land you in the exact same place as doing nothing. That's several hours of successful grinding that is being used to squeeze sweet IAP cash out of players. Stop defending this dumb practice of abusing players if you don't want developers dishing more of it out. There are 25 ridiculous combinations of purchase options in a game with a purchase cost already that gives you jack for several hours of playing. That. Is. Hot. Garbage.
On trial 4, what does "Reward option is reduce by 1 at a chance" mean? I didn't see any changes. From day 1 until day 200, I still get gold and reward box with 3 different choice.
I have 2 question I want to ask, 1. If the dark lord equipped with [OVERSPEED] skill which make our default agility increases by 40%, does it make the mana gauge charge faster? does it make the dark lord use other skills more often? Or does it only make her attack more faster? 2. If the monster equipped with 2 same skills, does it worth? (Ex: 2 blade storm)
Trial 1 is still low difficulty and seriously, it is very very very hard to die pre day 100 before trial 8 (imo), and even in trial 8 you have to actually try to die before day 100 (aka playing greedy, or playing things that make no sense or taking trial cards that destroy your strategy), and i don´t know what/how you are playing that you die so early, but there are more than enough people that bought the first 2 packs fully before challenge mode was released, or bought pretty much everything from the packs So i highly recommend you to completely change your strategy, because i don´t know how it is possible to die in that difficulty pre day 100, i can go into trial 7, pick every single trial card on the way, with not a single good monster to succeed (was after a 100 day challenge, and i had no monster storage only facility storage), and 3 facilities, and i still survived over 500 days, and now i have half decent units again and can probably do higher trial again (although i will probably still stay in lower trial to farm good skills on my monsters) As for trial 4 effect, i never noticed a difference aswell, as for the 2 questions, i never tested either ^^" But i believe that s.o. said something about skills are rotating, and tbh. i don´t see a reason to have any skill twice
I die all the time at day 80 or day 120. Its very frustrating. There's a few people who keep eye rolling and saying how easy it is. Like, what kind of unlocks are you playing with? Challenge mode trial 1 is absurdly hard, while trial 2 is alot easier.
I picked the game up again because I enjoy it but challenge mode has a totally broken difficulty curve, while basic survival is too boring
