It looks like the effect on room 640 was DMG reflection to attacker, which ate through my shields and dropped my health below 100%, which is really bad for Elizabeth, killing her damage output. Luckily my layout was good enough to keep everyone out of the boss room this time, so it was no problem. Onward!
Anyone know how Frosty Wind works exactly? “Default agility of all heroes in the dungeon is reduced by xx%.” What does 100% reduction mean? Is it useful to go over 100%?
Its meaning is a little closer to Cool Down(Requested Time). For example, suppose the default action is once per second. If Frosty Wind is 100% here, the default action would be once every 2 seconds.
Thanks! I’m using Frosty Winds, Necropolis, and Pressure rooms with Elizabeth to help stall out the heroes while she builds up huge damage with her first skill. Just passed the first big Angels fight on day 980!
Nice one... My favorite is right after placing a couple of altars in exchange for good rewards from Event cards, like giving random equipments to 100+ monsters.
Is there a way to save the items that you get? Like if I pick up the book, do I have to use it immediately or can I save it for when I have a few more altars? Also, what's the point of combining monsters? It seems like I usually just get a monster that's about the same so it's not even an upgrade.
Unfortunately, you have to use it right away. It makes it tricky and a bit of chance to try to coordinate a big effect. Well, later on you can unlock an ability from the abyss store that lets you pick to keep one of the monsters you are combining and just level it up/add abilities to it. As for random combinations, if you combine 2 monsters with the same number of stars you will always get one with higher stars (up to 5-stars), so that is a way to make sure you're always getting an upgrade of sorts. Otherwise, it is at least a random chance to get something you need for a recipe, etc.
I believe it will go up by at least 1, but maybe it can go higher? Typically 1* + 1* = 2*, 2* + 2* = 3*, etc. Others have posted more precise info about it recently, if you go back over the last few pages. But I think that's the general idea.
Just passed D+1260, but I can tell the end is coming soon. The Necropolis front line is starting to fail because they leveled up too much. Nothing can kill them fast enough, so they never spread any bonuses to the rest of the dungeon. I think at some point I'd have to start replacing my slow rooms (pressure/sloth/excess) with graveyard/necropolis just to keep the guys alive when the front line fails.
All of the above, except for the fallen heroes, will come soon. Though, what I am most curious about is if the "Ban Features" thing could also "level down" the dark lords a bit. Just to be able to do the achievements that are based on low level-rarity challenges again, in case if you waited too long to do them.
