Before Trial 8, I put a warhorn at the entrance; with one entrance, you'll get tons of fury for your trouble. After Trial 8, when there are three entrances, I place three necropolises at the entrance. Warhorn isn't as effective as the entrance then, so I move the warhorns to the ring around my meteor/dynamite. I cover the rest of the front two lines with ice storms/ice pits/ice arrows as I'm able to farm them up.
I like that upcoming update. But I also hope he's not stuck with many bug fix updates between that and the next major update. Those can really slow down his work, after all.
If anyone is having trouble with the boss room that has the angels with immune and immortality (room 980, 1300, etc), I would HIGHLY recommend taking the skill Blind (C), because it will make you immune to the blind debuff that the angels give. I put this ability on all the monsters in my room (including myself) and it helps a LOT when they all start clumping in my room and start spamming Ruling Light (damage + 3 Blind to all monsters in the room). The blind will stack extremely fast and will cut your damage by a lot if you cannot prevent it. I would recommend trying to get this ability on all the monsters in your room late game, since Mystic One was changed to only prevent Haze, Charm, and Faint. After a while, the boss rotation stops and the only boss fight becomes the angels. This is at around floor 1800(?) though if I remember correctly so you have quite a bit of time to prepare Applying panic to heroes is not bad too, because then they cannot use their abilities in the first place for a few turns. Shadowmere is just a good monster to have in your room in general. Another Skill that is valuable for the angel fight is Blade Storm (S). This ability applies damage to all heroes in the room 3 times, so if you activate blade storm when the angels are at 1HP, it helps with popping the immortality that they have. Earthquake and Sandstorm are also great abilities to have, because AOE is important in order to get rid of immortality stacks. Good luck in passing the angels!
Minor quality-of-life/convenience feature that would be nice: the ability to change battle speed and/or which skill is autocast in the Settings menu between battles.
I love my Goblins....helped me get to 10,000 gold very quickly. Now showing the love for my team of Orcs as well, combined with Focus rooms and my-most-favourite-Dark-Lord-Tania, they sure pack a punch.
This one actually character from different game but since we have kinda similar rogue hero..- no harm to share with censorship

This might be a stupid question, but when combining monsters is there any method to what the end product is? Or is it just completely random?
From combining, you can get a normally lower star monster at higher stars (for example a 5-star green slime, 3 star gargoyle), but the opposite is not true. A normally 5-star monster cannot appear as anything lower than that, so in this case 1-4 stars. Like you said, there is no way to control what monster you get as the product, but you can control how many stars your product is. Few rules with how many stars your product monster is: 1) If you combine two monsters of the same star, then the product monster will always be higher stars (unless if you are combining two 5 star monsters, it will always be 5 star outcome) Example, combining two 4 star monsters will always net you a 5 star monster. Combining two 3 star monsters will always get you a 4 star monster (or above that if you are lucky) 2) If you combine two monsters with different stars, then the product will not be lower than the lower star combination piece. Example, combining a two star and three star monster cannot get you a 1 star monster, but you can get a two star monster as an outcome. I have combined a 1 star monster with 5 star monster and gotten a 1 star monster as an outcome, although usually the product seems to favor the higher star outcome from my experience. Therefore, I think it is best to combine monsters that have the same stars, because you are guaranteed an outcome with higher stars than your starting material. This is just based on my observations, so someone please correct me if I am wrong. Personally I use the enhance option much more than combine
Thanks for all the information! That is very helpful. As far as what the actual monster will be, is there a method of getting the monster you want? For instance, I might try to get a Lizardman Girl or something in order to fill the recipe needed for one of the combination monsters. Are you more likely to get that by mixing a certain two monsters together, or is it completely RNG?
I'm afraid not.. from what I know it's completely random what you will get. There may be undiscovered mechanics for combining to get certain monsters but nobody has really labbed it out yet. Spamming eggs seems to be the best way to get monsters needed for recipes, because you at least have 3 choices to choose from. One thing you can try if you are looking for Lizardman Girl... then maybe mixing two 2-star monsters might be better than opening eggs, because you will be almost guaranteed a 3-star monster (and thus a higher chance for lizardman girl). I am not sure how the percentage of this stacks up with opening eggs though.
It's Hanabi from Mobile Legend random combining is pretty risky, the best way to get what you wanted is with this from abyss shop
