Here's an idea to address a critical component not dropping for 1000 levels.. What about an option in the store to disassemble an existing room/trap for a price. Once disassembled you have the option to keep 1 of the components.

I've gotten hooked on this, and also managed to get my brother hooked (the affliction spreads!) and we've both made it to the later stages of Hard/very beginning of Trials mainly using Elizabeth spamming her bite ability. However, it looks like for real trial progression we need to up our game. Detailed late-game strategy info seems hard to come by. Does anyone with Trial 10 experience have suggestions for us? I saw nyanpass's post that said Floria was the top google play hero, but I haven't seen any information on strategies. What I'm really looking for is a quick summary of basic tactics/abilities used, important succession choices/artifacts, and a basic layout guide. Any such help would be greatly appreciated! Barring that, I welcome advice, insults, hurled rotten vegetables, and the occasional old shoe. Please, no sharp implements.
Yup, thinking the same. Seems a lot like our lomg-awaited Shock manipulator Dark Lord! And given how the ailment works, she might have some low damage output without any help. Makes me wonder what else will be given to her to compensate for when she faces any shock-proof enemies.

I've read the guides, but as I said in my post, I haven't seen any real information on, say, Floria. I'm able to do 200 days in trial 1, probably farther if I was more conservative, and easily do 500+ in hard 8-10ish. All the information you're referring me to I've already read, or is redundant for me at this point in the game. I wouldn't have posted a question if the information was already easy to find in nyanpass's guide, or was just posted in the last day or two. What I'm looking for is a) information on endgame Floria strategies, and b) a more comprehensive approach to what is required in HIGH trial runs in terms of succession choices and artifacts and such, the kind of thing not covered in single screenshots or short 30-second youtube videos.
