World Conquest Event Requirements 1. After the boss battle victory, click to flip without receiving more than one of the 3 rewards you earn 2. You will eventually give up and receive the remaining reward. 5. As a result, the sins of your Dark Lord are revealed.
The following is a sample of a user who has mastered his / her own strategy to break through the top level of difficulty at once. 1. Total score : 87568 2. The Rebirth Reward : 320 dark stones There is a need to pay attention to his / her level at the time of challenge. 3. The amount of items he / she owns in the Abyss Shop just before the hardest challenge. (47/140) He / she seems to have already owned 20 dark stones. So, 340=20+320 4. The amount of items in the Abyss Shop that he / she currently obtains from rebirth rewards obtained at once. (81/140) 81=47+340/10 It may be difficult, but I wanted to introduce that there are some cases like this. Win your dungeon with the Dark Lord as your great strategy! :>
That's very impressive but it's impossible to tell if that run was because of skill or luck or both. Still, it doesn't really change my mind regarding the shop. I don't like gacha in premium games and this shop feels like gacha. However, i'm not going to go on and on about it. I've said my peace and i've enjoyed the game so far. If i have to stop now then so be it
I am glad you enjoyed this game so far. I hope that the inconvenience you experienced in this game will be improved through future updates. Thanks!
Thank you for all your hard work, helping people out and making guides. I'm sure i'm not the only one who was helped a lot by them
I bought this game the other night on my new iPad. I discovered a stuck pixel and had to send the iPad back to Apple for a replacement. Before I did that, I backed my save up to the Cloud, and I was going to continue playing on my iPhone. Well... my save doesn't show up on my iPhone. Am I out of luck? Am I doing something wrong? My iPad is already erased and on its way back to apple. I don't want to bother starting over on my phone if I won't be able to transfer the new save back to my new ipad when it arrives. Any suggestions? Is cloud saving completely broken?
I encountered something like this with the devs previous game. Because it uses the iCloud keychain, which isn't typical iCloud usage. Try turning your iCloud keychain off and then back on again on your other device...if it loads the keychain from what was on your iPad, you might be ok. I did this with dungeon defense: invasion of heroes and it worked, however I can't recall if I had to save to cloud again with the game I want—the one on your ipad—AFTER clear the keychain on the iPhone or not. It's been like a year and I just don't remember for sure, sorry. As is, I'd consider icloud backup to be a backup, rather than for transfer between devices. This is something the dev needs to work on; I think he has found a stopgap solution to cloud saving and has made it too permanent. Maybe now that he has a team and is no longer a solo dev he can manage to figure this out.
I'll have to try this out, thank you! These secrets add to the fun, especially if there are many and they have rewards Edit: I couldn’t get this to work. If you go to “next day” and hit the green check mark, you get a little sound and nothing changes. I tapped this at least 100 times. You hit the red x and go back. Now if you hit next day it will let you. Maybe something is getting lost in translation here? I do appreciate you trying to share this.
- Anyone have tips for playing as Floria? - Any particular creature skills synergize with her? - How often do you use the healing (4 point) ability vs cleanse (10 point)? I typically do 2 heals for 1 cleanse trying to keep everyone alive before doing crowd control, however at later levels combat is such a mess it's difficult to see what's going on and when to cast what. - What do you think of explosion traps? So far this is the only trap I use in my dungeon, surrounded by rooms on all sides. Seemed like a good idea as it can cause damage all around but still not positive it's better than a room with 3 monsters to slow down the flood. Bug: Around level 180 my new monsters stopped getting upgraded by the lab, instead the same level 24 monster keeps being upgraded to elite over and over.
I use Floria right now, and she's my highest scoring character: difficulty 10, level 260 (and counting!) In earlier runs, I used cleanse to get further than I perhaps deserved. I'd use healing once or twice in the beginning, but once I saw monsters getting close to my dark lord, I'd pop a cleanse to clear out a swathe of monsters all at once. Using this tactic, I actually cleared the first 100 levels of each difficulty up to 6 or 7. (I have monster succession x3, though) In this current run, I rarely use cleanse at all because my monsters have gotten strong enough that it is better simply to keep them alive. I simply seed x 4-5 and then heal, rinse and repeat. I have a warhorn up front at the entrance, two lightning towers in the middle lanes behind it, and then wall to wall monsters to fight incoming heroes. It's worked well, though I haven't cracked lv.300 yet.
Can you explain seeding? I assume that means you use basic attack 4-5 times and that gives some kind of boost? Also, at level 8 description is "when cleanse is used, seed is not consumed at 0% chance". I assume 0% is a typo? How do you know how much seed you have built up? Thanks!
Floria's mechanic revolves around her basic attack (1 MP) giving her a "seed" every time she attacks. This is a hidden counter and I have no idea how to tell at any given moment how many seeds she has. The # of seeds she has affects the strength of her heal and cleanse powers. Her heal works best when she has at least 5 seeds, and then it consumes up to 5 seeds and this multiplies the healing effect. If you simply spam Healing, it won't work very well. You need to attack x5 then heal, then attack x5 OR attack a bunch of times in the beginning to store up heals for later. The Cleanse spell hits ALL monsters 50 DMG x # of seeds. So in a typical (lv. 100ish) battle of auto-attacking, you might build up 50 seeds and then Cleanse to hit all monsters for a whopping 2500 DMG. It can completely clear the board once it's built up enough. The calculus changes over time, though. Eventually, you'll have 30 monsters hitting for 50-100 damage every second, and instead you'll forego Cleanse and just seed x5 --> heal to keep them all alive. That's been my experience, anyway. P.S. At some level, Floria gets insta-shield (cancel attack) at the cost of 3 seeds, so build up enough seeds and she can even tank the odd monster that slips into her lair. It won't save her from a barrage, though. I have no idea what the real # is for the "don't use up a seed in Cleanse" mechanic. However, my guess is that it's calculated per seed rather than altogether, since I always seem to have a few seeds left after a cleanse to shield my Floria from (say) a pesky angel still in my lair, etc.
Wow, thank you very much! I've been playing for 4 days never building up seeds, just spamming the other abilities. This adds so much more strategy and I'll likely no longer get attacked by 30 enemies in the lair at a time!
Here are some guides about the this game & icloud. https://forums.toucharcade.com/threads/guide-tip-dungeon-maker-dark-lord.319561/ https://forums.toucharcade.com/threads/dungeon-maker-dark-lord-by-gamecoaster.319369/page-7#post-4100239 1st. The information provided by the user is limited, so no specific strategy is known, but some of the strategies he / she mentioned with it were: On Day 184, the layout of the dungeon is... On the basis of this, the layout of the dungeon was changed to the following by going toward 340 Day. - Arena -> Frenzy - Gigantify -> Frenzy - Arrangement of war horns around dungeon entrances. - The rest of the traps are all ice bolts. The user originally tried to make four more war horns, but could not do so because he could not get the lounge, which is its material. Nevertheless, he / she overcame the most difficult 340 days. After all, I think that the user's own strategy can be summarized as follows. *Dark Lord: Marielle *Trap: Icebolt *Battle Room: War horn, Frenzy
I have the game. I played it on my Ipad and my Iphone. I also bought the Dark Lord Skill Package for $18, Monster Succession for $18, Facility for $9 and the single monster succession unlock for ?$6 (can’t remember price). I currently have unlocked the first 3 difficult. I don’t know, does that count for trying it? I'm sorry but pixel art and the gatcha game-play will keep the game as a niche. Yes, there are people who enjoy it. HOWEVER, any American is lying if they say this would be acceptable to the wider gaming audience. Look at all games develop by Americans, what percentage of them have over half the character as bikini clad women? If the devs want the game to stay niche, great. But let’s not fool ourselves into thinking that this appeals to the majority of Americans. The gatcha game-play also limits this games success. Repetitive grinding for the chance at a reward is also not embraced by Americans. Again, there is a niche for that, but it doesn’t appeal to the wider audience. Perfect example is Monster hunter. There are plenty of Americans who played the game before MHW, but it was a niche game. Why? It was too grindy, too hardcore. MHW made the game a little less grinding, a little more causal, and it gained huge success because of that. I personally HATE, really HATE when devs use cheap Gatcha mechanics on essential parts of the gameplay. It’s lazy/greedy design. It’s shows that the dev have zero respect for the players time or they didn’t have confidence that people would continue to play the game after everything was unlocked. The game would have been great if all the mechanic I mention would have been included, or if you could have directly used rebirth stone to buy them, instead of randomly waiting to get them. Or at the very least you got 10 rebirth stone every time you made it to day 100. None of that is the case. If I had of read that in the initial review, I wouldn’t have bought the game. I wrote a review for anyone else who is like me.
Mobile game suck because people don't call out devs for really awful game design. Energy timers and gatcha mechanics are some of the WORST. Honestly I thought about giving this game a 3 star rating, but I couldn't do it. I HATE gatcha mechanics a lot. EVEN more when they can be unlocked with pay walls. If you could not pay then I would have just accepted it as typical to Korean/Japanese game. The fact that dev put that message means they KNEW how crappy the design was, and kept it anyway. That's even worst.
