What is your favorite playable Dark Lord? :> What strategy will you use to dominate the dungeon this time? The fate of your dungeon is up to you.XD
It seems when you upgrade labs/extractions you have a higher chance of upgrading higher tier monsters. As soon as I upgraded my extraction, I started getting my 5-star monsters turning elite. Before that, it seemed mostly to focus on my lowest tier monsters, like slimes and imps. Now I always upgrade my labs and extractions That's my experience, can anyone corraborate?
I started my new games from this screen, got after day 100 but didn’t unlocked other difficult levels.
The "extraction" trap takes 100 walkabouts to turn one monster from normal to elite; the "laboratory" trap takes 200 walkabouts to raise a monster's star rating by +1. They do slightly different things; for a new map, the extraction is far more important; for a mid-level map, the lab is better once all your monsters are essentially elite. For a late level map, you're better off switching them out for a warhorn trap or something similar.
Hi all! I'm finding myself pretty addicted to the grind in this game. I've been playing for two or three days, and I've unlocked lv.200 up to difficulty 6. Here are some tips I've found useful: 1. Put your extraction trap at the entrance of the map. Every monster will trigger it and help you convert your entire team to elite status. 2. Once you've unlocked the "Monster Succession" bonus from the Abyss journal, focus on getting some of the "special merge" monsters. My favorites are Death Knight (place up front to give everyone immortality buffs), Thetis (the "drowned" debuff hits every monster at first), and Arachne (a good tank just before the Dark Lord room). Having some of these monsters on your roster permanently will allow you to move through the early difficulties quickly. 3. Traps don't seem to keep pace with battle rooms (with solid monsters) over the long term for DPS. I wasn't able to crack lv. 120+ in difficulty 4-5 until I started favoring full monsters (plus 3-4 Hatchery rooms + 1-2 Extraction/Lab rooms) instead of a half monster/half trap build. My favorite Dark Lord is Floria right now. Her "Cleanse" skill is great for turning the tide in the later difficulties. Good luck everyone!
Yeah, you like Floria. XD She has strong survival and ability to support the entire dungeon. Choosing her as your Dark Lord is a good choice!
The elite angel is very infamous! The dungeons of many users have been destroyed by her. But if you grow your Dark Lord and manage your dungeon well, you will be able to beat her someday. :>
What is recommended as the speical monster to succeed to the next game? Which monster do you take to the next game? I have Thetis and Death Knight. I have to choose what to take. But I can not decide. Both are good...
It depends on how your dungeon operates. If you have a lot of monsters with battle rooms, take Death Knight. Her special skills will give the monsters extra life. But if you have a lot of traps in your dungeon, choose Thetis. Her special powers will strengthen the dungeon's traps.
@Pagan Fox @nyanpass. Thanks for the advice. If I had an additional monster succession, I would have taken both of them. It seems that the fate of my dungeon is not much left now. I must prepare a new dungeon...
Playing on iPad Pro 10.5” After increasing dungeon size several times I’m unstable to upgrade the last 2 rows of rooms on the left because the card blocks the view so I can’t select them. Same issue with selecting monsters. Any ideas? Thanks
You know, since the update I notices you can scroll *down* on the map more. It would be great if this was added all around for this reason. But what I do is use that sliver of space to the left of the card, it takes a little maneuvering at times, but once some of that square is in there you can tap/select it.
This game is worth 3 dollars however it does have some bitter money grubbing flaws. Namely several things that are basically super important to the game are left out and hidden behind pay walls/random drop. Monster succession and Facility Succession (carrying over monsters and rooms from the last run) is borderline essential. With out this ability the special recipes for rooms and monster make little sense to invest it. The “auto skill” (automatically casting your ability) is a HUGE quality of life improvement. Without this you must frantically click thru every encounter, even early ones, which you know you’ll win. The “enhance” option (sacrifice a monster to level other monster and give them skills) is also required. However, ALL of these skills have to be unlocked. Rebirth stone do not come quickly. If you decide to spend money you would need an additional $50. That still won’t get you the “enhance” option. You just need to hope you get that early. Spending $54 would have been fine, but the way it was done leaves me a little disgusted.
Those upgrades are great in the mid-end game but you really don’t “need” them when starting out. I believe most of us didn’t buy any IAP and just learnt the mechanics trying to hit D100 with different characters at different difficulty levels. The upgrades you want will come in due time
For the love of god, PLEASE make the Auto Skill available as a default option, always available as a choice in abyss shop, or available as IAP separate from the Dark Lord Package. I already have all the Lords so paying $20+ for Auto Skill is a bit ridiculous. I love this game but my fingers are bleeding. Tapping is not fun.
I have to agree with this. I lucked into 2 monster succession cards in my first 10 draws, but I have yet to get any facility succession draws. I feel like there are lots of builds I could play with if I could (say) work up to a three giants room, etc. This game would suck if I had no succession at all, though. I almost wish that aspect was gated in a non-gacha way.
